McBob has been starting over Cody Zeller and may have locked up the power forward job with this stellar performance, although it's worth mentioning that Andrea Bargnani was guarding him. He's being ignored in favor of Zeller in a lot of leagues, but that may be a mistake, at least for the short term. If you need a 3-point shooting big man late in your draft, McRoberts looks like he's going to at least split minutes with the rookie.

Bobcats agreed to terms with PF/C Josh McRoberts on a two-year, $6 million contract.

The Bobcats are "motivated" to re-sign free agent Josh McRoberts, according to Yahoo! Sports. Charlotte acquired McRoberts from the Magic in late February and they immediately put him to work -- in 20 games with the Bobcats he averaged caeer-highs of 9.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks. In a refreshing bit of candor, he said in April that he'll sign with whichever team offers him the most money.

McBob was surprisingly productive during his stint with the Bobcats, averaging 9.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks on 50.5 percent shooting over 26 games. Mike Dunlap has previously endorsed McRoberts publicly, but the team shouldn't overextend itself to retain him.
