McRoberts (knee) underwent successful surgery Monday and could miss the remainder of the season, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. An MRI last week confirmed McRoberts suffered a torn right meniscus, and the team's initial prognosis has him ruled out for the remainder of the 2014-15 season. That timetable is subject to change, depending on the speed of the recovery, but at this point it's safe to rule out McRoberts as a fantasy option in nearly any format.

McRoberts (knee) has a torn right lateral meniscus and will require surgery, which could be season-ending, Marc Spears of Yahoo! sports reports. McRoberts, who sat out Sunday's loss to the Bulls, underwent an MRI on Monday morning that revealed the tear. Surgery will be required, and it's unclear whether McRoberts will be able to return to the Heat this season. The injury leaves Miami particularly thin on the wing, and Shawne Williams and Udonis Haslem should see upticks in their respective minutes.

McRoberts (knee) will not play Sunday against the Bulls. McRoberts will miss his third straight game after bruising appeared on his right knee during Tuesday's game against the Suns. He'll join Chris Bosh (calf) and Chris Andersen (ankle) as inactives, leaving Miami shorthanded in the frontcourt.

McRoberts (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with the Nuggets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. McRoberts logged 33 minutes in Tuesday night's contest, but was forced to take a seat early due to bruising in his right knee. He'll take a seat for the second night of a back-to-back set, but likely look to return for Friday's contest against the Jazz. Look for Shawne Williams and Udonis Haslem to see extra run in his absence.

McRoberts (knee) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, theSouth Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. McRoberts returned to action Tuesday following an absence due to illness, but was later benched due to right knee bruising. Considering Wednesday's game comes just one day after the reported injury, it would be a bit surprising if he plays. However, the Heat have listed him as questionable, indicating his return could be possible. Regardless, the questionable designation at least signifies his injury is considered minor.

McRoberts was benched late in Tuesday's game against the Sunsdue to bruising on his right knee, Ira Wenderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. McRoberts went on to say he was hopeful he could play against Denver Friday, so this is likely not too serious. However, it's also yet another health setback for a player the Heat have tried to give increasing minutes.

McRoberts had his best game as a member of the Heat on Sunday since moving to the starting lineup. He finished with 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds, and five assists in 28 minutes. McRoberts is a player capable of filling up the stat sheet and providing numbers that aren't normally provided by a power forward. It's yet to be seen how the Heat will fully utilize him, but if it's anything close to the way he was used in Charlotte he could be a good pickup. He's still a while from being a player to add, so wait until he's able to string a few of these kinds of games together before making any moves.
