Jeremy Lin (knee) had an extended shooting session on Thursday, his first activity at practice since injuring himself in late November. The Rockets had a light practice and Lin didn't do any running or cutting, so we doubt that he'll be in the lineup on Friday. This is still a step in the right direction and it leaves the door open for a return prior to his initial two-week timetable.

Jeremy Lin is expected to miss two weeks with a Grade 1 sprain of his right knee, as well as a contusion. This could be the break that Patrick Beverley owners have been waiting for, but then again, it could be Aaron Brooks who really benefits the most. Brooks had 21 points and four 3-pointers on Wednesday and has been playing well recently, and is more offensively minded than Beverley. Both players get a boost in value, but Brooks is the sneakier daily play. And, of course, it will also depend on if James Harden (foot) is back for the Rockets tonight. Harden is expected to play, but is officially a game-time decision, as usual.

Jeremy Lin suffered a right knee contusion on Wednesday and will not return. He bruised his knee in the first quarter and the team will likely re-evaluate him tomorrow. Francisco Garcia is the last shooting guard standing and should see as many minutes as he can handle with James Harden also out. The Rockets may also play a backcourt of Aaron Brooks and Patrick Beverley tonight. Lin finished with no points, one board and one assist.

Jeremy Lin scored 19 points on 5-of-11 shooting (2-of-5 from deep, 7-of-8 from the line) with five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in Saturday's win over the Wolves. Lin had a stumble earlier in the week but as you can see he's a must-start player no matter what. He has embraced his role off the bench and fantasy owners should embrace it, too.

Jeremy Lin had his worst game of the season on offense with just one point on 0-of-5 shooting to go with one rebound, four assists and one block in 17 minutes on Wednesday. He entered tonight as the No. 2 bench scorer in the NBA and he was a little overdue for a sub-par game. In his previous 10 games, Lin scored 18.1 points per game with 5.4 assists and 1.3 steals, so his owners are still playing with house money following this dud. He'll get a chance to rebound against the Wolves on Saturday.

Jeremy Lin hit 6-of-11 shots for 16 points, four rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block in 32 minutes off the Rockets bench on Saturday. He's playing very well and looks like he's settling into the sixth-man role nicely for the Rockets. And while we are surprised at how well he's played this year the fact of the matter is that he's a better play than starter Patrick Beverley right now. And whether that's still the case a month from now remains to be seen.

Jeremy Lin shot 7-of-16 from the field in Thursday's win over the Knicks to go with five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes. He was on fire against the Sixers on Wednesday and was cooking in the early part of tonight's win. Lin's 3-point shot wasn't on tonight, so he put his head down and attacked the basket for six free throws and four field goals within six feet. He's obviously worth starting while he's hot like he is now.

Jeremy Lin started at shooting guard in place of injured James Harden and exploded for 34 points, a career-high and franchise-record nine 3-pointers, as well as five rebounds and 12 assists in 49 minutes of Wednesday's overtime loss to the Sixers. He also committed eight turnovers, but who cares? He had 31 points in his last game, when Patrick Beverley disappeared, and continues to defy the odds and play very well for the Rockets. We've been pretty hard on him, but he just keep producing. We still expect him to cool off once Beverley gets rolling and Harden's feet feel better, but he's simply playing too well to be ignored for now.

Jeremy Lin will start at shooting guard in place on James Harden on Wednesday. Since Patrick Beverley took over as the starting point guard after his rib injury, he's been on the court with Lin for for an average of 16 minutes per game in those three outings. Both player should see plenty of playing time with Francisco Garcia backing them up.

Jeremy Lin missed part of Friday's practice due to a sore right elbow. He didn't seem bothered by an elbow injury in Thursday's home loss to the Lakers and played 31 minutes off the bench. Lin doesn't have any noteworthy elbow injuries in his NBA career, so it would be a surprise to see him miss Saturday's game against the Clippers.
