Jeremy Lin scored 16 points in a start at point guard on Wednesday with one board, five assists and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes. He started at point guard with Patrick Beverley out and had one of his better games of the season on both ends. Beverley's ab strain could keep him out of the lineup after the break, so it makes sense to pick up Lin in most leagues. As a starter this season, he's averaged 14.3 points, 4.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.2 triples.

Jeremy Lin will start in place of Patrick Beverley (abdomen) on Wednesday vs. the Wizards. His numbers are a little better in the starting lineup, averaging 14.3 points, 4.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.2 treys in 33.2 minutes. Lin is a solid option tonight and is worth owning in almost all leagues until Beverley can return.

Rockets coach Kevin McHale is eager to continue playing Jeremy Lin and Patrick Beverley together in the backcourt. "I thought earlier in the year, they were our best combination on the floor," McHale said. "Those two have a nice symmetry between them ... I like that combination. With injuries, we haven't been able to [pair them] as much as we have wanted to." Lin and Beverley have shared the court for just over 300 minutes this season, during which time the Rockets are shooting 46.2 percent from the field while holding their opponents to just 41.8 percent shooting.

Jeremy Lin came off the bench and played just 29 minutes on Saturday, but still managed to record his first career triple-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer in a win over the Cavaliers. Lin became the first Rockets player to come off the bench for a triple-double since Cedric Maxwell did so in 1988. He came into this one hot due to James Harden's injury, and is averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.3 3-pointers over his last three games. Harden was back in action tonight, but Chandler Parsons was benched for his defense, clearing the way for Lin to go off. His trade value won't be higher this season than it is right now.

Jeremy Lin scored 18 points during Wednesday's 117-115 win over the Mavericks with seven boards, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes. He shot 8-of-14 from the field tonight, which is nice to see based on Lin shooting 40 percent or worse in five of his previous six games. Lin's minutes have increased in the last two games thanks to James Harden (thumb) missing time, so his back-to-back 18-point games are a bit of a false positive that he's "back." His fantasy owners shouldn't base his value on his recent revival.

Jeremy Lin started in place of injured James Harden and hit 5-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer for 18 points, three rebounds, eight assists and a block in Tuesday's win over the Spurs. Harden's thumb injury doesn't sound serious and he could play in his next game. And if he does, Lin will crawl back to the bench and likely put up about half the numbers he did tonight.

Jeremy Lin had another dud in Friday's loss, scoring nine points on 4-of-6 shooting with one rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 27 minutes. The steals and blocks help offset some of the damage here, but with no 3-pointers and a very mixed history over the past month or so owners have to be at wits' end. With a solid start to the season a case can still be made to hold, but Lin needs to turn it up soon.

Jeremy Lin moved back to the bench on Monday during Houston's 126-113 win over the Blazers, scoring eight points with two boards, five assists, one steal and two 3-pointers. The Rockets got off to a great start in this game and didn't need Lin to give them an offensive jolt. The best days of the season are likely behind Lin now that Patrick Beverley is back, but he's not likely going to be this bad. In other words, most owners shouldn't make any hasty cuts just yet.

Jeremy Lin struggled against the Bucks on Saturday during a 114-104 win with seven points, one board, four assists and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes. This could be trouble for Lin to have some terrible games before Beverley comes back on Monday. Back when the team was healthy, they used a lot of a lineup composed of Lin, Beverley, James Harden, Chandler Parsons and Dwight Howard. The missing piece is Terrence Jones and he's more than earned some playing time. Lin owners shouldn't press the panic button completely, but there is a lot to be worried about.

Jeremy Lin had a horrible showing against the Thunder on Thursday with six points, two assists, one steal and one turnover in 24 minutes. He shot 2-of-8 from the field and didn't register any other stats. Lin lost a lot of playing time earlier in the season due to his terrible defensive efforts, so this horrible game comes at a bad time with Patrick Beverley targeting a return next week. He played 39.0 minutes per game in his four previous games and there aren't many point guards as fast as Reggie Jackson, so his fantasy owners shouldn't panic just yet.
