Jeremy Lin struggled to just six points, one assist and three turnovers in 24 minutes vs. the Thunder on Sunday. Chandler Parsons (15 points) was the only Rockets starter in double figures as Kevin McHale threw in the towel early in the second half, and Lin's fantasy owners will have to shrug off this lousy game. With Patrick Beverley (hand) expected out until at least late January, Lin should be a rock-solid option as Houston's starting PG.

Jeremy Lin started at point guard for the first time this month, scoring 13 points with two rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, one steal and one 3-pointer on 5-of-10 shooting in 34 minutes. The loss of Patrick Beverley is going to allow Lin to move back to his more natural point guard spot and the extra stats should come along with it. He scored 20 points in his return from a knee injury on Monday and should be viewed as a must-start player in a favorable offensive system.

Jeremy Lin (back) felt fine after playing 37 minutes in his return to the court. Lin had missed the Rockets' previous four games with his back ailment, so it was nice to see him log 37 minutes in his return. "I felt all right, the second half a little bit better than the first," Lin said. "I definitely can't complain in terms of how my body felt in my first game back." Lin likely won't play 37 minutes per game as the Rockets get healthier, but he deserves to be in all fantasy lineups while healthy for his scoring prowess.

Jeremy Lin (back) returned to action in the Rockets' 111-104 loss to the Mavs on Monday, scoring 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting (1-of-2 3PTS, 7-of-10 FTs) with two rebounds, two assists, five turnovers and one steal in 37 minutes. Lin's scoring won't be an issue regardless of the team's injury situation, but we'd like to see him round out his game a little bit better. Either way, he should be in all lineups.

Jeremy Lin (back) will return to the Rockets' starting lineup on Monday. Lin's return is timely with Patrick Beverley (hand) out 4-6 weeks and James Harden (ankle) out for at least Monday's game. Pluck him off the waiver wire where available, and feel free to plug him into your lineups with a massive five-game week on tap for the Rockets.

Jeremy Lin (back spasms) said he will play against the Mavericks on Monday. "I'll be good for tomorrow," Lin said. "It's been a long time. I'm excited to get back." The Rockets took a massive blow on Saturday with Patrick Beverley breaking his hand and they are now very likely to be putting Lin back into the starting lineup. Aaron Brooks is still worth a look as a sixth-man kind of player while Lin seems like a strong play in a five-game week for his fantasy owners.

Jeremy Lin (back) is hopeful that he can return to action vs. the Mavericks on Monday "if there are no setbacks." "Just to get back in shape after having to sit ... not even really being able to sit, let alone jog or run, it's good to sweat again and get your body going," Lin said. His return might be imminent but the Rockets' five-game week presents both an opportunity and an obstacle, as there's no telling how his back will react to such an intensive stretch of games. Patrick Beverley's broken hand opens the door for Lin at PG, and with luck we'll get a concrete status update on Monday afternoon.

Jeremy Lin (back) will miss his fourth straight game on Saturday due to his ailing back. This makes 10 DNPs in the past 12 games for Lin, whose conditioning will be an issue whenever his back heals enough for him to play.

Jeremy Lin (back) will not play against the Pacers on Friday. He was back at practice on Thursday, but he's been unable to do a lot of basketball-type moves like driving and shooting. Lin should be considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Aaron Brooks should get most of the backup point guard minutes and is worth a spot start in deeper leagues.
