Withey managed 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, four blocks and a steal over 32 minutes in Saturday's 92-87 overtime victory over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
"Rejection" clearly has a very positive connotation in Utah, where Withey is beginning to rival the man he's filling in for, Rudy Gobert, with respect to shot-blocking prowess. He's now tallied back-to-back games with four blocks, and has rattled off four consecutive double-digit scoring performances. Withey has excelled in multiple aspects of his game over that span, shooting 54.5 percent (18-for-33) and averaging 8.5 rebounds and three blocks. He's also recorded at least one steal in each contest. Withey's improved play has also garnered him additional playing time, with the third-year center receiving no less than 24 minutes during that period.

Withey recorded 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 boards (five offensive), two blocks, two steals, and one assist across a season-high 24 minutes in Monday's 95-91 win over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first double-double of the season for Withey, who made the most of Derrick Favors' second consecutive absence due to back spasms and also took advantage of one of the league's weaker frontcourts. Withey is expected to remain a member of the Jazz rotation so long as Rudy Gobert (knee) remains sidelined, but since Favors' injury isn't considered a long-term concern, Withey could see his playing time fall back to the 10-to-15-minute range in the near future.

Withey will get another start Monday versus Philadelphia, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Derrick Favors out again, Withey will draw another start. Withey is seeing a lot more action than expected this season due to key injuries to Utah's frontcourt. He will look to take advantage of another opportunity Monday. He will likely slide back into a reserve role upon Favors' return.

Withey accumulated six points (2-5 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal over 19 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year pro returned to the starting lineup with Derrick Favors (back spasms) sidelined, and was productive over his limited time on the court. Withey has played reasonably well in his opportunities while Rudy Gobert has been sidelined with a knee injury, and figures to continue receiving modest playing time against lineups with traditional big men at the five. Even with the Jazz's injuries in the frontcourt, Withey has only played more than 20 minutes in a game once this season.

Withey will start at center on Saturday against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Derrick Favors is out with a sore back, leaving Withey to hog all of the minutes at center on Saturday. The Jazz will probably implement some smaller lineups with DeAndre Jordan is on the bench, but Withey is the only healthy player with the size and experience to matchup with classic centers while Favors and Rudy Gobert are out.

Withey will return to his reserve role Friday, David Locke of The Zone Sports Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Withey started his first game of the season Wednesday, but has been replaced by Trey Lyles for Friday's contest. Wednesday's start was likely simply matchup related, and Lyles should continue to start in Rudy Gobert's absence.

Withey recorded four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, a steal, and a blocked shot across 17 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Withey made his first start of the season in place of Trey Lyles, as coach Quin Snyder aimed to find a starting lineup that could jumpstart the struggling Jazz. The appointment to the starting five didn't result in a dramatic change in Withey's situation; his 17 minutes weren't much more than the 14.8 minutes he'd averaged the previous five games while coming off the bench. Fortunately for Withey, Lyles didn't do stand out in a reserve role with only two points and three rebounds in 14 minutes, so there still may be an opportunity for Withey to continue to start in the games to come. However, unless he notices a considerable rise in playing time, Withey isn't likely to carry much fantasy value.

Withey will start Wednesday against New Orleans, Jody Genessy of Deseret News repots.
EDGE Analysis
Withey has seen a steadily increasing role this season and will finally get an opportunity to start. His recent increase in playing time can be attributed to Rudy Gobert (knee) being out. Withey has played more than 20 minutes in only one game this season, but he could reach that mark again Wednesday now that he'll be starting.

Withey tallied eight points (4-5 FG), nine rebounds (three offensive), two assists, and a block in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 106-85 win over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
The blowout nature of the game resulted in Withey seeing more action than usual. He's been a part of the rotation since Rudy Gobert (ankle) went down due to injury, but in more competitive games, he'll typically only see about 10-to-15 minutes behind new starting center Derrick Favors. Those prospecting the Jazz frontcourt for a Gobert replacement are better off turning to Trevor Booker or Trey Lyles, both of whom often receive slightly more playing time than Withey.

Withey went scoreless (0-3 FG) in 13 minutes in Tuesday's 114-106 loss to the Kings. He also added five rebounds.
EDGE Analysis
Withey has now logged at least nine minutes over the last three games (many thanks to Rudy Gobert's injury), but he hasn't been doing much with the opportunity given. He's averaged just two points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks during that span, and isn't doing enough to be worth noticing in most formats.
