Withey recorded four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, a steal, and a blocked shot across 17 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Withey made his first start of the season in place of Trey Lyles, as coach Quin Snyder aimed to find a starting lineup that could jumpstart the struggling Jazz. The appointment to the starting five didn't result in a dramatic change in Withey's situation; his 17 minutes weren't much more than the 14.8 minutes he'd averaged the previous five games while coming off the bench. Fortunately for Withey, Lyles didn't do stand out in a reserve role with only two points and three rebounds in 14 minutes, so there still may be an opportunity for Withey to continue to start in the games to come. However, unless he notices a considerable rise in playing time, Withey isn't likely to carry much fantasy value.
