The Celtics' frontcourt depth prevents him from seeing big minutes on a regular basis, however, so it will be hard for him to maintain even that fairly modest fantasy pace.

The departure of David Lee and injury to Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) will make it tough for coach Brad Stevens to overlook Sullinger in terms of court time. Despite some struggles from the field, Sullinger made his presence felt on the glass against a tough Jazz frontcourt. He posted double-digit boards for the third straight game, and encouragingly received a higher-than-normal allotment of minutes for the second straight contest. With Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) scheduled to be on the shelf for at least the next two weeks according to recent reports, Sullinger should have ample opportunity to provide the multi-category production he's proven aptly capable of.

Sullinger has been one of the more unreliable fantasy options on the landscape, but when he actually does come to play, it makes you wonder where he goes all that time when he doesn't show up. The 30 minutes that Sullinger got tonight were the most he's played in nearly three weeks, but that's because the production is finally coming around. Wednesday's game against the Clippers was the third time in four games that he's scored in double-digits. While Sullinger is a risky play, it might not be the worst idea to stash him away on your bench.

Sullinger recorded four points (2-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 11 rebounds, and five assists across 20 minutes in Tuesday's 112-111 loss to the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Sullinger regressed here after scoring 21 points in the Celtics' previous game Sunday against the Kings, but a lack of playing time remains the source of most of his problems. Even while barely seeing over 20 minutes, Sullinger still managed to record his most rebounds in the previous six games, so the night wasn't a complete loss for those in season-long leagues who decided to keep him active.

Sullinger saw his customary 23 minutes on Sunday, but he was spectacular en route to matching his season-high--which he set back on Nov. 6. The Celtics' front-court is extremely crowded, and coach Brad Stevens has only afforded Sullinger 30 minutes or more in nine contests during 2015-16. The soon-to-be 24-year-old has scored in double figures in each of the last three games, but it's tough to trust him in standard leagues when he only sees 23 minutes in a game despite dominating. That being said, the trade deadline is approaching, so Sullinger is a player to keep an eye on in all formats.

EDGE Analysis

Sullinger held his own for a bit against Andre Drummond and ultimately helped the Celtics to the win. Sullinger hasn't been getting the minutes that we covet in terms of fantasy value, but there are certain days where he gets the job done in a limited amount of time. Going forward, we're looking for more of a definitive role for Sullinger and it doesn't appear that the time is now.

Sullinger's roller-coaster season continued on Sunday, and the talented, albeit inconsistent forward is averaging 11.0 points, nine rebounds three assists to 1.6 turnovers, 1.8 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 24 minutes per game over the last five contests. He has been playing well lately, but unless the Celtics make a trade or coach Brad Stevens starts to reduce other front-court players' minutes, it will likely take an injury for Sullinger to become a consistent, sure-fire starter in standard-sized leagues.

It's his third double-double in the last five games, but it comes just two days after an awful game against the Raptors in which Sullinger managed only three points and two boards in 13 minutes. He's capable of posting good numbers at any time, but his lack of consistency puts a serious damper on his usefulness in many fantasy formats.

Unsurprisingly, Monday's overtime game marked his highest minutes total over that span, and the most time he has earned since Dec. 11 versus the Warriors.
