Sullinger was inefficient from the field, but fought hard on the glass to help the Celtics avoid a loss to the 76ers. His 15 rebounds matches a season-high, and though Sullinger has failed to score 10 points in the past four games, he still seems to have a firm hold on the starting center spot in coach Brad Stevens' rotation. However, the Celtics have a lot of big men fighting for minutes, so on nights when Sullinger isn't producing, Stevens has other options he isn't afraid to employ.

Sullinger had another productive game Tuesday, posting 18 points, 12 boards and a three-pointer in the loss to Dallas.

Tuesday marked Sullinger's eighth start of the season. Sully appears to have locked down the starting power forward spot next to Amir Johnson. He's averaging 12.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, one block and one three-pointer as a starter. This is a major reversal from the preseason, when coach Brad Stevens buried Sullinger on the bench.

It was a spectacular night for Sullinger, who has made the most of his increased role for the Celtics since joining the starting lineup on Wednesday versus the Pacers. In two starts, Sullinger is averaging 15.0 points on 52 percent from the field, 57 percent from three, and 100 percent from the free throw line to go along with 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks in 25 minutes per game. He's highly unlikely to keep up this level of efficiency, but he seems to have responded well to Celtics' coach Brad Stevens' decision to bring him off the bench during the team's first three games.

Sullinger started Wednesday against the Pacers and posted nine points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go with 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks in 27 minutes of action.

EDGE Analysis

Sullinger has never been an efficient scorer in terms of field-goal percentage, but he has the ability to put up stray steals, blocks, and threes when given the minutes. While he wasn't getting much time in the Celtics' first three games, his move to the starting lineup could be a good sign to come. A speculative add in 14-man leagues probably wouldn't hurt at this point.

Sullinger has been arguably the most productive big man for the Celtics so far this season, as coach Brad Stevens has rewarded the power forward with a spot in the starting lineup Wednesday. Amir Johnson will start at center alongside Sullinger in the frontcourt. Sullinger could see an increase in minutes along with the start, also improving his value as a solid daily fantasy option.

Sullinger is averaging 20 minutes per game through Boston's first three games, coming off the bench for all three matches. He's averaging 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 0.7 made threes per contest.

EDGE Analysis

The early pre-season concern was that Sullinger was buried beneath Tyler Zeller, David Lee, Amir Johnson and Kelly Olynyk for playing time. Lee and Zeller have started all three games, but Sullinger is outproducing both of them. It looks like coach Brad Stevens will continue to experiment with his front court depth, meaning it could be some time before its clear which Boston big man is the best fantasy pick.

Sullinger totaled 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-10 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and three blocks across just 19 minutes in a win over the Knicks on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

That's quite the line in not much action and it shows how impressive Sullinger can be at times. Earlier in the preseason, coach Brad Stevens said he only wanted to use four big men a night and that would indicate that Sullinger is the odd-man out, with Tyler Zeller, Kelly Olynyk, David Lee and Amir Johnson seemingly being the four. That's just a tentative statement by the coach and surely performances like these are questioning that notion.

Sullinger played only 13 minutes in the Celtics' preseason Monday win versus the Nets, scoring three points and collecting three rebounds.

EDGE Analysis

David Lee didn't play, yet Sullinger was unable to collect more playing time. Amir Johnson started and played 22 minutes, scoring 15 points including another three pointer. Kelly Olynyk played 18 minutes and scored 14 points. Sullinger's fantasy stock continues to decline as he seems to be the loser in the Celtic power forward log jam.
