Whiteside (oblique) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Bulls, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside injured his oblique during Wednesday's loss to the Wizards and after four days of recovery time, he's still being listed as questionable in advance of Monday's outing with the Bulls. Amar'e Stoudemire started in his place at center on Friday, so if Whiteside is forced to sit out again during the Heat's upcoming game, look for a similar course of action. We should see Whiteside's status updated again following Monday morning's shootaround.

Whiteside (hip) is listed as out for Friday's game against the Raptors, Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though there is still no set-in-stone diagnosis for Whiteside's oblique injury, it appears that the Heat are being cautious and keeping Whiteside out of Friday's game against the Raptors. Look for Amar'e Stoudemire, Udonis Haslem, and even possibly Josh McRoberts - should he return from injury - to fill the frountcourt minutes in Whiteside's absence.

Whiteside (hip) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Raptors, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside has been dealing with what has been called a hip contusion by coach Erik Spoelstra. Without any definitive diagnosis for Whiteside's hip ailment, the Heat are not sure about Whiteside's ability to play on Friday. Without Chris Andersen (knee), Josh McRoberts (knee), and Luol Deng (eye), the Heat frontcourt will look to Udonis Haslem, Jarnell Stokes, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Justise Winslow for frontcourt playing time.

Whiteside (hip) was unable to return to Wednesday's game against the Wizards after exiting in the second quarter and will be reevaluated Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside's injury was initially classified as an oblique strain, but coach Erik Spoelstra labeled the ailment as either a hip contusion or a hip strain after the game. The Heat's medical staff should have a clearer idea at the extent of the injury before Friday's game against the Raptors, but until then, it's difficult to count on Whiteside being available for that contest. In addition to Whiteside, the Heat also lost Luol Deng (eye) to injury during the game, and entered the night without Dwyane Wade (shoulder), Goran Dragic (calf), Beno Udrih (neck), Chris Andersen (knee), and Josh McRoberts (knee). A potential Whiteside absence for Friday's game would likely result in Amar'e Stoudemire making his first start of the season.

Whiteside is questionable to return Wednesday against he Wizards to a left oblique strain.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside went down mid-second quarter and headed back to the locker room. The Heat are struggling on the injury front, and only entered Wednesday's game with 10 active players. Due to the shallow talent pool they could use Whiteside's return, but will unlikely push him if the injury is too severe. Expect an update on his status when more information becomes available.

Whiteside went off for 23 points (8-9 FG, 7-11 FT), 18 rebounds (seven offensive), two blocks, and one assist across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 91-79 loss to the Bucks.'
EDGE Analysis
The strong showing from the free-throw line helped buoy Whiteside's scoring total, though his superb efficiency from the field certainly didn't hurt. Whiteside has now compiled five double-doubles in a row, which also includes a 19-point, 17-rebound, 11-block triple double against the Nuggets last week. Whiteside did miss one game back on Jan. 11 against the Warriors due to lingering right knee tendinitis, but he's shown now signs of wearing down since coming back from that injury.

Whiteside (knee) posted 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 FT), 17 rebounds, two assists, a steal and 11 blocks over 38 minutes in Friday's 98-95 victory over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
The four-year pro was absolutely dominating Friday, thoroughly frustrating seemingly every member of the Nuggets at least once in their attempted drives to the basket. The performance served as his third consecutive game with double-digit points and rebounds, and also represented his second triple-double of the season. Whiteside showed no ill effects from the knee tendinitis that had been ailing him, and could be at full health moving forward.

Whiteside (knee) will play Friday versus the Nuggets, Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside was unable to play in the Heat's previous two games due to knee soreness, but will return to action Friday. He did indicate that his knee is feeling much better. It is likely that he will assume normal workload barring any setbacks with his knee.

Whiteside (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Nuggets and is expected to return to the starting lineup, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting out because of a knee injury, Whiteside returned to the court Wednesday, but ended up coming off the bench. Considering he played 27 minutes during that outing and didn't suffer any setbacks, the Heat are comfortable inserting him back into the starting lineup. With that being said, Justise Winslow is expected to return to a bench role in the corresponding move. So far this season, Whiteside is averaging 12.1 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.8 blocks over 29 minutes per game.

Whiteside (knee) came off the bench in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers but still tallied 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks in 27 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside was able to get back on the floor Wednesday after sitting out the previous game, and he produced numbers right in line with his 2015-16 averages despite coming off the bench for the first time this season. The Heat don't figure to take any chances with their starting center, but with Whiteside taking the floor Wednesday, he should be expected to be available for the Heat's next game Friday in Denver.
