Whiteside (knee) will play Friday versus the Nuggets, Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Whiteside was unable to play in the Heat's previous two games due to knee soreness, but will return to action Friday. He did indicate that his knee is feeling much better. It is likely that he will assume normal workload barring any setbacks with his knee.
