Bacon (illness) is not listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon was held out of Sunday's game Toronto, but it looks like the rookie will suit up Tuesday night. He hasn't been part of the team's regular rotation since late-November, however, and even the absence of Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder) likely is not enough to make him a key member again.

Bacon will not play Sunday against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon is dealing with an illness and will be held out as the Hornets begin a four-game week. He hasn't been a part of the regular rotation since late-November and hasn't played double-digit minutes in a game since Dec. 9.

Bacon was assigned to the G-League's Greensboro Swarm on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the second time this season that Bacon will head to Greensboro, and his first stint went very well, as he averaged 38.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists across two games. With the Hornets off until Wednesday, Bacon will be able to see some extended minutes in the G-League, and the former Florida State standout will look to continue his dominance in Greensboro.

Bacon was recalled from the G-League on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon made his first stint in the G-League over the last week, playing in two games with the Swarm and averaging a whopping 38.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals across 39.5 minutes. That included a franchise record with a 45-point effort in his G-League debut, so Bacon clearly took advantage of the extra playing time. He'll now be brought back up to the Hornets, where he should serve as depth on the wing. However, unless an injury occurs, Bacon will likely have a tough time providing any sort of fantasy value.

Bacon was assigned to the G-League on Thursday, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon has fallen out of the rotation recently, failing to see the court over the last three games. For that reason, he'll be sent to the G-League, which will allow him to get extended playing time and the opportunity to work on his overall development. Once recalled, Bacon would likely need an injury or two to become a fantasy relevant player.

Bacon was recalled from the G-League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday. He was unable to make it to Greensboro due to travel issues after originally being assigned there.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon has struggled to find significant run as of late with the team's backcourt relatively healthy. He'll likely continue to bounce back and forth between the NBA and the G-League for much, if not all of, the season.

Bacon has been assigned to the G-League, NBA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The second-rounder out of Florida State has been in and out of the rotation over the last few weeks, and he'll now head to the G-League for an opportunity to see starter's minutes on a nightly basis. Bacon was averaging only 8.1 minutes per game in the month of December.

Bacon will remain in a bench role for Saturday's matchup with the Lakers, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Usual starter Nicolas Batum (elbow) was a game-time call for Saturday's contest and Bacon was going to take his spot in the top unit if he couldn't play. However, Batum went through pregame warmups without any issues and will start as usual, which keeps Bacon in his typical bench role. Considering Bacon has seen double-digit minutes just once over the last four games, he's likely someone to avoid for fantasy purposes Saturday.

Bacon will start Saturday's game against the Lakers if Nic Batum (elbow) is ultimately ruled out.
EDGE Analysis
Batum is dealing with some soreness in the elbow that caused him to miss time at the start of the season, and the Hornets will wait until just before game-time to make a final call. Acting head coach Stephen Silas confirmed that if Batum is held out, Bacon will take his place at shooting guard. Whether or not that's ultimately the case, Bacon will likely see increased minutes, as the Hornets have already ruled out Jeremy Lamb with a shin injury.

Hornets head coach Steve Clifford said that Bacon would remain in the team's rotation during Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon picked up his sixth start of the season in place of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a Nov. 7 loss to the Knicks, but retreated to a bench role in the Hornets' subsequent contest Friday against the Celtics after Kidd-Gilchrist returned from personal leave. The rookie ended up playing 20 minutes versus Boston and should match up with LeBron James when Kidd-Gilchrist is off the court Wednesday, but Bacon's playing time could fall by the wayside thereafter. With Nicolas Batum (elbow) set to make his season debut Wednesday and likely to rejoin Kidd-Gilchrist in a starting role on the wing, Jeremy Lamb should move to the bench and pick up the bulk of the available minutes behind both Batum and Kidd-Gilchrist for the foreseeable future, leaving fewer opportunities left over for Bacon.
