Bacon averaged 3.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists over 53 games played for the Hornets to conclude his rookie campaign during 2017-18.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon missed the last five regular season games as a result of an ankle injury. The Florida State Seminole will be entering the second year of his rookie contract and is set to make about $1.4 million.

Bacon (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's season finale against the Pacers.

Bacon (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon continues to nurse a sprained right ankle and also appears unlikely to return ahead of Tuesday's regular-season finale against the Pacers. As a result, Bacon likely won't play again this season after averaging 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds across 13.5 minutes in 53 games this season. Treveon Graham (concussion) also remains out, which should keep Julyan Stone in the rotation.

Bacon (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon is set to miss a third straight game, as he's yet to be cleared from a lingering sprained ankle. The Hornets only have two outings left on the regular-season schedule following Friday's contest, so there's a chance Bacon is eventually shut down. That said, he'll continue to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis in the meantime. With Treveon Graham (concussion) still out as well, look for Julyan Stone to remain in the rotation and push for minutes in the teens.

Bacon (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon missed the Hornets' last two games with a sprained ankle, but appears to have a chance at getting back on the court ahead of Friday's contest. Look for Bacon to test out the ankle during Friday's morning shootaround and another update on his availability should be provided after that session. The Hornets have just three games left on the schedule and nothing to play for, so if Bacon isn't fully healthy, they'll likely be cautious and hold him out once again.

Coach Steve Clifford intimated Sunday that Bacon (ankle) may miss the Hornets' next two games, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clifford noted that Bacon, who is dealing with a sprained ankle, likely won't join the team on its upcoming two-game road trip, which includes matchups with the Bulls on Tuesday and the Magic on Friday. That would mean Bacon's next chance to play would come Sunday against the Pacers, though even that may be optimistic.

Bacon (ankle) will sit out Sunday's matchup with the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon sprained his right ankle during the fourth quarter of Saturday's contest and with the Hornets playing on the second night of a back-to-back set Sunday, he won't be able to give it a go against the Sixers. Tentatively consider Bacon questionable heading into Tuesday's matchup with the Bulls as well and he'll likely need to practice in some capacity prior to it in order to have a chance at getting back on the court.

Bacon sprained his ankle during the fourth quarter of Saturday's contest against the Wizards and is doubtful to return. Assuming he doesn't return, he'll finish the game with four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two assists in 18 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon saw extra run due to the absence of Jeremy Lamb (foot), though got hurt in the process. Even on the off chance he ends up returning to Saturday's contest, he should tentatively be considered questionable for Sunday's game against Philly.

Bacon registered 15 points (6-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, three rebounds and two steals across 31 minutes in Thursday's 140-79 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon has now gotten 20-plus minutes in each of the last three games, but this is the first of those three where he has put up solid scoring numbers. Game flow may have a lot to do with the 31 minutes off the bench, but Bacon is becoming a go-to option for the Hornets off their bench.

Bacon had 15 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three assists, two steals and one block in 18 minutes during Saturday's 124-101 loss to the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Bacon saw some more playing time with the Hornets starters simply woeful Saturday. This was Bacon's highest point total since early November and is more of an outlier at this stage. The Hornets are basically out of the playoff hunt now and should they decide to give some of their younger players additional run, Bacon could be worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues.
