Inconsistency has been the theme over the past few weeks with his production ranging from solid to weak. He is ok to own in standard leagues but chances are there is someone with more upside available on the waivers.

The rookie was near-perfect from the field on his way to his fifth double-digit scoring effort over the last six contests. Fox's 72.7 percent success rate from the field was actually a single-game career best and marked only the fourth time in 10 March games that he's shot at least 50.0 percent. As is typical for a young player, his overall production continues to see some ebbs and flows, but his role as a primary ball handler continues to afford him solid upside each time he takes the floor.

Fox totaled 11 points (4-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, four steals and two assists in 27 minutes during Saturday's 103-97 loss to Utah.

EDGE Analysis

Fox's efficiency continued its roller-coaster ride, as he went just 4-of-13 from the field on his way to 11 points. Poor shooting aside, he was able to tie his season-high with four steals. As with many rookies, he is going to have his inconsistencies but seems to be locked into regular minutes and should be owned in most formats at this stage.

Fox scored 20 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-5 FT) while adding three assists and two rebounds in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 123-119 overtime win over the Heat.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie has rounded into a consistent contributor late in the season, and Fox has now scored in double digits in nine of his last 10 games while averaging 13.2 points, 4.8 assists, 2.1 boards, 1.0 steals and 0.9 three-pointers and shooting 45.8 percent from the floor over that stretch. Those numbers have modest fantasy appeal, but they do highlight the growth in his skill set, and Fox could be poised for a breakout 2018-19 if the Kings can bring in enough help for him in the offseason.

It's his third double-double of the season, and first since Jan. 13. Fox has been providing the Kings with some consistent offense, scoring in double digits in eight of his last nine games while averaging 12.4 points, 5.0 assists, 2.1 boards, 1.1 steals and 1.0 three-pointers over that stretch. The rookie has a bright future, but he's proving to have some fantasy value in the present as well.

Fox (back) will start at point guard for Sunday's game against the Nuggets, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

EDGE Analysis

Fox will be returning from a one-game absence due to a back injury and will immediately be re-inserted to the starting five. The Kings aren't reporting any sort of restrictions for their rookie guard, so he should be on a full workload and fantasy owners can get him active and in lineups as usual. Look for Frank Mason to head back to the bench in the corresponding move.
