Fox (ankle) went through practice Wednesday, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox was forced from Monday's game against the Bulls after suffering a sprained left ankle. A subsequent X-ray came back negative and he was able to go through practice Wednesday, so it clearly wasn't anything overly serious. For now, it appears Fox is trending towards being available for Friday's matchup with the Pistons, though another update will likely be provided once he's had the chance to test out the ankle during the team's morning shootaround earlier that day.

Fox will not return to Monday's game against the Bulls after spraining his left ankle, Jason Jones of The Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Immediate X-rays came back negative, but the rookie likely has further medical tests on tap in the coming days to determine the exact severity of the sprain he suffered in the third quarter of Monday's game. Luckily the Kings don't play again until Friday against Portland, but George Hill will be the top candidate for more of a workload if Fox ends up sitting out.

Fox tallied 15 points (7-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three steals and a rebound in 35 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 loss to the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Fox has all but taken over at point guard as George Hill seems to be the primary victim of the declaration made by the Kings a few weeks ago that endorsed moving forward with their younger talent. This means Fox should be a player to watch as the season continues, as his production and usage will only rise moving forward. He's already a worthwhile target in dynasty leagues and is beginning to gain traction in all formats.

Fox posted 26 points (8-15 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three assists and one blocked shot in 33 minutes during Sunday's 113-98 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
While his output in ancillary categories left a bit to be desired, Fox had an excellent shooting night, draining all sic of his 3-point attempts and a perfect score from the charity stripe. The rookie is now the point guard to own in Sacramento as the Kings organization is going to hand responsibilities over to their younger players moving forward. George Hill has already been singled out as one of the players who will be on the outside looking in, Fantasy players should take notice and take appropriate action if Fox happens to be available and/or George Hill is on your roster.

Fox (abdomen) will start Thursday against the Heat, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox was listed as probable after the his MRI results came back negative. With Fox in the starting lineup and the negative MRI, the injury likely isn't anything serious. Fox is averaging 13.6 points over 32.0 minutes in January thus far.

Fox (abdomen) is considered probable for Thursday's game against the Heat, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox underwent a precautionary MRI on Wednesday, but the results came back negative and the rookie point guard looks to be on track to play Thursday in Miami after leaving Tuesday's contest early with the injury. Fox has seen a big bump in usage this month, so expect his playing time to continue hovering around 30 minutes as the Kings look to play their younger players more and more.

Fox (abdomen) underwent a precautionary MRI on Wednesday, which returned negative, Jason Jones of The Sacramento Bee reports. He is day-to-day.
EDGE Analysis
Fox left Tuesday's game against the Magic due to abdominal tightness, which prompted Garrett Temple to see extra run. More word on Fox's status should arrive following Thursday's morning shootaround. But, if he's ultimately ruled out for the game against Miami, George Hill and Garrett Temple are the two main candidates to see extra run at point guard. Buddy Hield could see more run in the backcourt as well.

Fox (abdomen) will not return to Tuesday's contest against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Fox exited Tuesday's game in the second quarter, leaving Garrett Temple to open up the second half as the starting point guard. Look for more updates on the injury to come before Thursday's game against the Heat. Until then, Temple and Bogdan Bogdanovic will likely see an uptick in minutes with Fox sidelined and George Hill sitting out Tuesday's game to rest.

Fox is dealing with some abdominal tightness and is questionable to return to Tuesday's game against the Magic, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox was seen heading to the locker room during the second quarter of Tuesday's contest and another update should be provided when the two teams come out for the start of the second half. The exact severity is still unknown, but considering it's being listed as just tightness, it doesn't sound like something that could keep Fox out for an extended period of time.

Fox scored 16 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3PT, 5-5 FT) to go with two rebounds, six assists and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's 106-88 loss to Memphis.
EDGE Analysis
After leading Sacramento with 16 points Friday, the rookie point guard has scored in double-digits in seven out of his last nine games. During this stretch, Fox is averaging a solid 13.3 points with 6.1 assists. In addition, he has shot the ball well, sinking 40.2 percent of his 11.3 shots per game over this span. Through 38 games, Fox is providing a steady amount of points (10.3) while running the point efficiently (4.3 assists) in the Sacramento offense.
