Darren Collison worked on his 3-point shot during the offseason. Collison is attempting to extend his range so teams can't sag off of him defensively. It's worth noting considering he shot 33.1 percent from deep last season, and an improvement there could boost his fantasy stock as a result. If he comes off the bench behind George Hill, Collison is nothing more than a flier toward the end of drafts.

Darren Collison may come off the bench according to beat writer Mike Wells of the Indy Star. Wells alludes to some defensive issues but doesn't explain them fully, but writes that George Hill is a complete player and has him pegged as the starting PG. This would be fairly disastrous to his fantasy value. Where we had previously said a mid-round pick would be fine, Collison is nothing more than a late-round flier pick until this matter is cleared up.

Pacers point guard Darren Collison said Monday that he's seriously considering playing overseas after Monday's bad news regarding the lockout. You can expect a flurry of news like this to break over the next two days, as players, who are on the verge of missing their first paycheck, scramble to make some cash during the lockout, which could end the upcoming season.

Pacers beat writer Conrad Brunner wrote Friday that he it's unlikely that George Hill will be a threat to Darren Collison. Brunner writes that Collison, Hill, and Paul George's minutes are safe, and that Lance Stephenson's profile is set to rise. Players whose minutes he identifies to be cut included Mike Dunleavy, Dahntay Jones, Brandon Rush, and A.J. Price. By the looks of things the Pacers view the former group as interchangeable backcourt parts, and a big factor in their use will be whether or not Danny Granger lines up at PF.

Point guard Darren Collison didn't sound concerned about the acquisition of combo guard George Hill when speaking with Pacers beat writer Mike Wells. "It'll be good competition, which will only make us better," Collison said. "He's a very good defender and he can play both guard spots." Wells writes that Hill will push Collison for the starting job but that the two could play together, and that last component will determine how much fantasy value both players will have. As it stands, the pair will cancel each other out.
