Darren Collison struggled once again on Thursday against the Nets, scoring five points on 2-of-8 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two blocks in 26 minutes. Backup PG A.J. Price played 22 minutes and scored eight points on 3-of-6 shooting with three assists, two steals, and a three, but we don't smell a point guard controversy here. Collison is just slumping and doesn't have enough leash to avoid losing minutes when that happens. He's still a serviceable PG, though, so consider benching him and hope for the best when George Hill (ankle) returns.

Collison had slowed down recently so the scoring numbers are a welcome sight for owners, but until the Pacers right the ship he'll probably be inconsistent. He could be ready to play better in the second half of the season after struggling with consistency early.

George Hill made a big play late and saw 30 minutes of action, but they didn't come out of Collison's bucket. We're not moving the needle with Collison missing a few shots tonight and otherwise playing well, albeit a bit to aggressively with the trigger.

Roy Hibbert was 2-of-9 with no blocks, while Danny Granger was 4-of-11 for 12 points. In other words, we're not that concerned about Collison, yet.
