Collison is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Rajon Rondo dealing with a back injury, Collison will take his spot in the starting lineup. With this move, Collison should see his minutes increased and considering how well he's played of late, could have the chance at putting up some solid numbers all around.

Collison scored 21 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT) while adding six assists and two rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench during Saturday's win over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
He's been on a tear as the court general of the Kings' second unit, scoring in double digits in 10 straight games and averaging 15.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.1 boards and 1.1 threes over that stretch. Collison's production is still somewhat limited as long as he's coming off the bench behind Rajon Rondo, but he's been making the most of his opportunities.

Collison recorded 13 points (5-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 assists, six rebounds, and two steals across 33 minutes in Monday's 122-103 loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Collison didn't shoot the ball very well from the field for the second straight game, but only committed two turnovers and was able to claim his second double-double of the season. The Kings called on Collison to assume increased minutes in the first half with Rajon Rondo dealing with foul trouble, but even when Rondo has received his usual playing time of late, it hasn't resulted in a downturn in Collison's minutes. Monday marked the third time in four games that Collison had seen 31 minutes or more.

Collison contributed 24 points (11-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds, and one steal in 35 minutes during the Kings' 108-106 win versus the Pacers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Collision committed only one turnover, and he was extremely efficient overall on Wednesday. Kings' coach George Karl has shown he is willing to run Collison and Rajon Rondo together for long stretches, and the two point guards saw a combined 72 minutes on the night. Over the past two games since Rondo returned from his suspension, Collison is averaging 18.5 points on 60 percent shooting from the field to go along with 6.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 0.5 steals in 33 minutes per game. His upside would be much higher if Rondo were to suffer an injury, but Collison has proven he can make an impact off the bench as well.

Collison scored 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with 13 assists, seven rebounds, and a steal through 41 minutes in a 107-97 win over the Rockets on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Collison performed admirably in Rajon Rondo's absence; Rondo was unavailable Tuesday, as the veteran point guard was serving a one-game suspension for berating a referee. While receiving praise from teammates for his play Tuesday, Collison's minutes are likely to return to the mid-20's for Sacramento's game against the Timberwolves on Friday.

Collison tallied 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-2 FT), three assists and a rebound over 25 minutes in Thursday's 99-97 victory over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old former starter and Rajon Rondo continue to form a highly effective tandem at point guard. Collison has now posted eight double-digit scoring performances over the last nine contests, and equaled a season-best seven field goals Thursday in the process of posting his second 16-point outing in the last three games. The veteran heated up from the field, after having managed a sub-par 37.5 success rate with his shot in two of those games. At present, Collison seems like a safe bet for a minimum of about 25 minutes per night and solid scoring totals over that span, although he often fails to contribute much of substance in other major categories.

Collison paced the Kings' bench with 12 points (3-8 FG, 6-6 FT), five assists and a rebound over 26 minutes in Thursday's 114-97 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
The former starter has quietly put together five consecutive double-digit scoring performances, while playing an average of 26 minutes over that span. Although Collison outplayed Rajon Rondo versus the Celtics, coach George Karl appears to be very satisfied with the current rotation at point guard. However, with Collison seeing consistent minutes in the mid-to-upper 20s, he remains a viable option in deeper leagues, as well as an interesting cost-effective play in daily formats.

Collison led all reserves with 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and added five rebounds and three dimes over 28 minutes in Monday's 112-98 win over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Collison has provided double-digit scoring production over the last four games, while recording exactly three assists in each of those contests. He's fallen between 23 and 28 minutes during that stretch, and with the Sacramento roster now back to full health, it appears safe to project him to fall within that playing-time range for the Kings' next handful of games to come.

Collison registered 18 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three assists, and two rebounds over 26 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
The 18 points were more than double his output in any of the other four games he's played since returning from injury. Much of those lackluster point totals were a byproduct of shooting just 12-for-38 from the field (31.5 percent) during that span, but as that number gradually inches closer to his 46.3 percent career rate, his scoring should recover. Collison continues to come off the bench for the Kings, but the combo guard should see 25-plus minutes on a regular basis.

Collison is expected to move back to the bench for Monday's game against the Hornets with Rudy Gay (shoulder) on track to rejoin the starting lineup, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Gay sidelined for the Kings' previous game Saturday against the Magic, Collison picked up the start at shooting guard alongside Rajon Rondo and played a season-high 36 minutes. Considering that Collison had played 28 and 21 minutes when he came off the bench in the Kings' preceding two games, it seems likely that he'll settle back into that range Monday now that Gay is back, but he could still offer enough contributions as a scorer and assist man to remain active.
