Collison contributed 26 points (12-21 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five assists, four steals, and one rebound across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 108-92 win versus the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Collison matched season highs in scoring and steals, and this was the third time since the beginning of January that he has gone for 26 points. Collison has been aggressive lately, but he had to take it up another notch on Wednesday, as the Kings were without DeMarcus Cousins (suspension). Cousins is slated to return for Friday's matchup with the Hawks. Meanwhile, guards Garrett Temple and Ty Lawson are both dealing with hamstring injuries, with the former set to miss at least another week and the latter scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday. As a result, expect Collison to continue receiving at least 30 minutes per game for a while, as he has seen that type of workload in seven of the last nine outings. Furthermore, he has been on fire from the field lately, shooting 54 percent from the field over the last four games.

Collison registered 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five assists, one rebound and two steals over 36 minutes in Monday's 112-107 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Collison logged the second-most minutes on the floor behind DeMarcus Cousins, his third straight game with over 30 minutes. The veteran guard remained hot from the field as well, as is shooting 52.4 percent overall in his first three February contests, with multiple threes in two of those games. Collison's usage average of 17.0 points over that span could see a bump in Wednesday's tilt against the Celtics, considering that DeMarcus Cousins is slated to be suspended for that contest due to his technical for shoving a Bulls assistant in Monday's game.

Collison contributed 18 points (8-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists and two rebounds over 33 minutes in Saturday's 109-106 overtime win over the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Collison was a solid complementary presence to DeMarcus Cousins in the victory, hitting the 50-percent mark from the field for the second straight game. The veteran point guard has 19-and-18-point efforts in those contests following back-to-back single-digit scoring contributions in the two games prior. With the Kings getting inconsistent production from the two-guard spot and Garrett Temple now out for multiple weeks with a hamstring injury, Collison's role in the offense should only expand in the next several games.

Collison finished with 19 points (8-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 38 minutes in a 105-103 loss to the Suns on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
With Arron Afflalo (illness) and Garrett Temple (hamstring) unavailable Friday, coach Dave Joerger utilized more two point guard lineups than usual, affording both Collison and his backup Ty Lawson (28 minutes) some more time on the court together. While both players were able to score effectively, the duo combined for only four assists, as most of the facilitating duties fell on the shoulders of DeMarcus Cousins, who finished with a triple-double. Cousins has taken on a larger role than ever as a distributor for the Kings, and while it's almost always a good idea to run the offense through him, it will likely have a negative impact on Collison's outputs. Collison is averaging only 4.0 assists per game on the season, his lowest mark since the 2013-2014 campaign.

Collison compiled 26 points (10-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, four rebounds, and three steals across 46 minutes during Friday's 115-111 overtime loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Collison's 26 points and four three-pointers both match a season-high total for him, but it wasn't enough to triumph over the Pacers. Friday also marks Collison's third double-digit scoring outing in a row, which is crucial for the Kings with Rudy Gay (Achilles) sidelined for the season. He'll try to string together a fourth double-digit outing when the Kings play the Hornets on Saturday.

Collison contributed 23 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, three rebounds, two steals and one block across 36 minutes in a 116-112 win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
DeMarcus Cousins was the alpha dog of the Kings' offense throughout the night with a team-leading 30 shot attempts and nine assists, but Collison was effective in a supporting role and finished second in both of those categories. The Kings are in need of some of their complementary players to step up with Rudy Gay (Achilles) out for the season, but until Wednesday, Collison hadn't really risen to the occasion. Even after Wednesday's performance, Collison is averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 three-pointers in 28.5 minutes per game during Gay's four-game absence, production that hasn't deviated much from the point guard's season-long averages.

Collison pitched in 21 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two assists, two steals, and one rebound in 27 minutes during the Kings' 122-118 loss to the Thunder on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Collison has hit double figures in scoring during seven of the last eight games, which is his second such stretch of the season. Collison's three 20-point performances thus far in January match his total in November and December combined, and he is beginning to show some solid consistency after struggling to find his way in a crowded backcourt during the first couple months of 2016-17.

Collison contributed 13 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists and one rebound across 22 minutes in a 120-108 loss to the Cavaliers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Dave Joerger frequently deployed Collison alongside Ty Lawson earlier in the month as part of two-point guard lineups, but he seems to have abandoned the experiment. Garrett Temple has started at shooting guard over the last three games, while Lawson has acted as the main backup to Collison. With Lawson running hot Friday and leading the bench with 17 points, Collison saw a downturn in his minutes, and that figures to remain an issue periodically while the two aren't sharing the floor together. Collison hasn't seen more than 30 minutes in any of the past three contests, which has limited his overall ceiling for production.

Collison started at shooting guard and put up 20 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 35 minutes in a 106-98 loss to the Clippers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Though the Kings dropped another game to fall to 15-21 on the season, Collison seemed to coexist well in an off-the-ball role alongside Ty Lawson, who entered the starting lineup at point guard. Lawson has been pushing Collison for time at point guard for the past few weeks, and with both players playing well in recent games, coach Dave Joerger decided to experiment Friday and see how they would fare starting alongside one another. Joerger could end up sticking with the backcourt pairing Sunday against the Warriors, and Collison could continue to pour in the points in what figures to be an up-tempo game. Collison has hit double figures in the scoring column in four straight games after failing to do in any of the four games that preceded them. During this hot streak, Collison is averaging 18.0 points (on 51.8% shooting from the field), 3.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 three-pointers in 34.3 minutes per game.

Collison recorded 26 points (10-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven assists, two rebounds and one steal across 36 minutes during a 120-113 win over Denver on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Collison took advantage of Ty Lawson's (nose) absence once again, this time scoring a season-high 26 points. Lawson probably won't be sidelined for too much longer, but Collison will continue to get heavy minutes in the meantime. Collison had been struggling with four straight single-digit scoring efforts but has rebounded with a combined 42 points over the last two games while Lawson has been hurt. It remains to be seen, however, if he can keep up the strong play when Lawson returns.
