Collison is expected to play about 12 minutes in the Pacers' third preseason contest Monday against the Pistons, Scott Agness of VigilantSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
All of Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanvoic, Thaddeus Young and Myles Turner are scheduled to sit out the exhibition for rest purposes, leaving Collison as the only projected Opening Night starter in the lineup. While those absences should allow Collison to enjoy some healthy usage during his time on the floor, head coach Nate McMillan's stated desire to restrict the veteran's minutes Monday will limit the point guard's upside in daily contests. Collison is coming off a 2016-17 campaign with the Kings in which he averaged 13.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game, and though he'll stick in a starting role upon signing with Indiana in the offseason, he could see a downgrade in playing time with a highly capable backup in Cory Joseph behind him on the depth chart.

Collison and the Pacers have agreed in principle on a two-year, $20 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The stint will be Collison's second in Indiana, as he played the second and third years of his career with the Pacers. He has spent the previous three with the Kings, averaging 14.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 triples across 31.3 minutes per game during that span. He will join a revamped Pacers roster, and figures to have a good chance to grab a starting role in the backcourt along side the recently acquired Victor Oladipo.

Collison (head) will not take part in Wednesday's game against the Clippers, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collison has missed the past two games, one for rest and one for a migraine, and will miss Wednesday's game as a result of his migraine as well. With that, Collison's season will be over, as Wednesday marks the Kings' final game of the year. He will finish averaging 13.2 points, 4.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 30.3 minutes per game. In his absence, Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans will likely handle the bulk of minutes at point guard, as reserve Ty Lawson (rest) will not take part in Wednesday's game either.

Collison will be held out of action Tuesday against the Suns due to a migraine headache, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The point guard was rested Sunday against the Rockets, and he's apparently developed a migraine Tuesday that will equate to a second straight absence. Consider the 29-year-old questionable for the season finale Wednesday against the Clippers, and expect Garrett Temple and Langston Galloway to pick up increased minutes in his stead Tuesday.

Collison will sit out Sunday's game against the Rockets for rest, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collison will get another veteran's day off for rest, with the Kings safely eliminated from the playoffs and looking to evaluate some other players on the roster. With Collison sitting out, look for Ty Lawson to likely start at point guard, with Langston Galloway also potentially seeing a bigger role off the bench.

Collison ended up with 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 assists, five rebounds and a steal across 28 minutes against the Lakers in Friday's 98-94 loss.
EDGE Analysis
Collison has struggled lately, averaging just 9.0 points, 7.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals over his past three outings. He is doing his part lately as the Kings try to help their lottery status. With three regular season games remaining do not be surprised to see the veteran rest at least one more time.

Collison will not play in Tuesday's game against the Mavericks for rest purposes, Kings' reporter Sean Cunningham reports.
EDGE Analysis
Backup point guard Ty Lawson will also be given the night off to rest, so it is unclear what the team intends to do at point guard. Look for Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans to both get opportunities at the one. Collison will presumably return Friday against the Lakers, but the Kings figure to continue resting their regular rotational players as the season winds down in order to help their lottery status.

Collison finished with 23 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven assists and four rebounds over 37 minutes in Monday's 91-90 win against the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Collison hit a pair of free throws in the closing seconds to make the difference. After a couple of tough offensive outings last week he has bounced back to average 21.0 points and 5.5 assists over his past two outings while knocking down 16 of his 24 field-goal attempts.

Collison scored 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-5 FT) while adding four assists, a rebound and a steal in 28 minutes during Sunday's 98-97 win over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
After getting Friday off, Collison returned to action and led the lottery-bound Kings to a surprising and perhaps unwelcome road win. The 29-year-old's production has been erratic over the last six weeks -- he's scored in single digits three times in the last eight games, but also has two double-doubles -- and with Sacramento only playing for draft position, Collison will be a tough player to rely on as the regular season draws to a close.

Collison will start at point guard Sunday against the Clippers, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collison sat out the Kings' previous game Friday against the Warriors for rest, and he could be on tap for another game off Monday against the Grizzlies in the second half of a back-to-back set. While he won't face any restrictions Sunday, the Kings' ample backcourt depth makes it unlikely that coach Dave Joerger will turn to Collison for much more than 30 minutes. The veteran point guard is averaging 9.8 points, 5.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 27.0 minutes per game over his last five appearances.
