It wasn't the most efficient afternoon for Chiozza, but he contributed to a three-point barrage that saw the Nets go 21-of-57 from beyond the arc in the improbable victory. Chiozza played a team-high 31 minutes, but he'll likely sink back into a more reduced role once Caris LeVert and Joe Harris are back in the lineup.

Regardless of Chiozza's role, he seems likely to continue earning decent time given the team's lack of options at point guard.

Dating back to his college days, Chiozza has been known as a steady playmaker who can make plays in the pick-and-roll and play with pace. He's not the most reliable scorer, but Chiozza could be an excellent option for fantasy purposes given that he seems primed to hold down the starting point guard gig.

The two-way player looks to have secured a regular spot in the Nets' rotation as the backup point guard, even after Brooklyn parted ways with coach Kenny Atkinson. He's received double-digit minutes in five straight games -- including both of the past two with interim boss Jacque Vaughn at the helm -- averaging 10.0 points, 3.2 boards, 2.6 assists and 2.0 triples while shooting 55.9 percent from the field.

Chiozza notched 14 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 118-79 loss against the Grizzlies.

EDGE Analysis

It was an off night for the Nets as a whole, but Chiozza took advantage of the opportunity to deliver his highest scoring effort of the season while also topping the 20-minute mark for the second straight game. He might become a regular member of the rotation moving forward, but he needs to show more consistency before becoming a reliable fantasy asset.
