Updating a previous item, Andrei Kirilenko is not interested in playing for the Nets for the veteran's minimum salary. With the report that Kirilenko is returning to the NBA, it will be interesting to see where he lands if it isn't with the Nets. He had been rumored to be considering joining Brooklyn for quite some time, but it doesn't sound like there is currently a fit. These Kirilenko rumors of a potential NBA return have persisted for some time, but this is the first time we've heard from CSKA Moscow on his future plans.

The Nets are still having discussions about signing Andrei Kirilenko, who was previously thought to be staying with CSKA Moscow. GM Billy King confirmed that the Nets are "talking to Kirilenko," but their odds of signing him are uncertain since they can only offer him the veteran's minimum to come to Brooklyn. The Warriors and Jazz have also been mentioned as possible teams for AK, should he return to the NBA.

The Warriors are interested in adding free agent F Andrei Kirilenko. Kirilenko played some of the best basketball in his career last season, leading CSKA Moscow to the Euroleague final and earning MVP honors along the way. Kirilenko has flip-flopped on if he wants to return to CSKA Moscow or make an NBA comeback for this season. The Warriors want Kirilenko to back up David Lee at PF, but the Nets and Jazz have also been known to have interest in Kirilenko as well. Stay tuned.

Andrei Kirilenko has reportedly decided to play at least one more season for CSKA Moscow, reversing a previous statement by the president of the team. Kirilenko is a preeminent star in Russia and will likely earn a salary comparable to what he'd earn in the NBA, so this isn't altogether surprising. Last season CSKA Moscow won the Russian League, lost by one point to Olympiacos in the Euroleague Finals, and AK himself was named the Euroleague MVP. It's possible that we've seen the last of AK-47 in the NBA.

CSKA Moscow's team president confirmed that Andrei Kirilenko will not return next season, all but assuring he will sign with an NBA team. It was rumored months ago that AK had an agreement with the Nets, and we should hear rumblings some time during the free agency moratorium, which ends July 11.

Andrei Kirilenko said he's "50-50" when asked about returning to the NBA next season. 'I haven't decided my future yet. There are 50-50 chances for me to stay or to go," he said. Kirilenko also added that if he does remain in Europe, it will be to play for CSKA Moscow and not another club. We fully expect him to test the NBA waters to see if he can find a contract to his liking.

Andrei Kirilenko sounds set on returning to the NBA next season, and confirmed that the Jazz and Nets are his "priority." Kirilenko wants to enjoy his recent success with CSKA Moscow, which won the Russian league (yet again), and he doesn't expect to choose a team until after July 1st. In other AK news, he missed the last two games of the Russian PBL finals with an ankle injury, but it doesn't seem too severe.

Andrei Kirilenko reportedly hurt his ankle during the Russian League finals, but the severity of the injury is unknown. AK was playing in Game 1 of the finals with CSKA Moscow, who lost a heart-breaker in the EuroLeague finals just last week. We'll have an update soon, but hopefully this won't linger for the internationally-coveted free agent.

Andrei Kirilenko said that while the Jazz are "a priority" for him, he's still unsure where he'll sign as a free agent this summer. "I have a huge history with the Utah Jazz and they are a priority for me among the 30 teams competing in the NBA," said Kirilenko. "CSKA are just as close to my heart in Europe and when the [Euroleague] Final Four is over I will weigh my options and make a decision." The Nets are also in the hunt for AK's services.

Andrei Kirilenko said that it is "not true" that he has been negotiating with the Nets. "I have no one to negotiate," Kirilenko said. "The fact that there was...this is nonsesnse." Kirilenko did say that the situation could "change at any moment," but for now, it appears to be just unsubstantiated talk.
