Andrei Kirilenko (calf) is listed as out for Friday's game against the Rockets. It will be the ninth straight game missed for Kirilenko. He's yet to play in the month of March, and he's been limited to just 45 games this season so far. Previously, Kirilenko said that he needed just a couple more practices before returning, so he shouldn't be out too much longer.

Correcting an earlier item, Andrei Kirilenko and Nikola Pekovic did not travel with the team for Wednesday's game in Indy against the Pacers, and their status for Friday's road game in Houston against the Rockets is still in doubt. We wrote that the duo was not traveling with the team for "their two-game road trip" which might have insinuated that the had already been ruled out for Friday. At this point the reporting for Friday's game is light as their status is truly in doubt.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) is not traveling with the Timberwolves on their two-game road trip. It's possible AK could rejoin the team in time for Friday's game against Houston, and he did say that he was just a couple of practices away from returning. We'll have to wait for an update to learn when Kirilenko might return as he's now missed seven games and will miss his eighth straight on Wednesday.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) and Nikola Pekovic (abdomen) have been ruled out for Tuesday against the Spurs and Wednesday against the Pacers with their injuries. Adding insult to injury is the fact that the Wolves have nothing to play for, so neither player is going to be rushed back. We're not able to tell you to flatly drop either player, especially if they're going to return by the end of the week, but owners in daily leagues will have to look at their situation closely and how badly the misses are hurting their fantasy teams.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) will not play on Tuesday. Kirilenko said he could be a game-time decision, but we never really bought that. He could return on either Wednesday or Friday, but we still don't have a clear idea on his timetable other than that he's progressing. Derrick Williams and Mickael Gelabale will step up once again.

Both Andrei Kirilenko (calf) and Nikola Pekovic (abdomen) could return this week, but each is unlikely to play on Tuesday. Updates on Kirilenko's calf have been few and far between, but he said that he's feeling better and has an outside shot of being a game-time call on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pekovic said he was pain free and hoped to resume basketball activities on Monday. The Wolves play on Wednesday and Friday, so it sounds like either or both could return in one of those games later in the week.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) said he hopes to return to game action this week. He's unlikely to play against the Spurs on Tuesday, but it's encouraging to see him wanting to get back into action. Kirilenko has an injury list longer than Dikembe Mutombo's arms, but he's worth owning in all leagues with the Timberwolves' terrific remaining schedule.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) will not play in any of the Wolves' next three games. Kirilenko will be reevaluated on Monday. It's no surprise considering his history of woes with soft-tissue injuries and the Wolves' place in the standings. Most owners in standard formats are going to need to move on until we see AK47 get back on the practice court.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) and Nikola Pekovic (abdomen) have been officially ruled out for Monday's game. Both players were listed as 'doubtful' so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Rick Adelman said toward the end of last week that Kirilenko could be out "a while" with his strained calf, which is even more bitter for fantasy owners given the Wolves' very favorable schedule down the stretch. Consider him questionable for the Wolves' game on Wednesday.

Andrei Kirilenko (calf) and Nikola Pekovic (abdomen) are both considered doubtful to play on Monday. We don't expect either player to suit up, leaving the Wolves short-handed once again as they take on the Miami Heat. Derrick Williams will be asked to do a lot on the frontline once again, while the Wolves will likely use a variety of small lineups that feature J.J. Barea, Luke Ridnour, Alexey Shved and Ricky Rubio.
