Rick Adelman expects Andrei Kirilenko (calf) to be out for "a while." "I don't know how long, but he'll be out for a while," he said. Kirilenko has already been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Lakers, and his availability moving forward is very much up in the air. "And that will really hurt us again because we're just so small offensively," Adelman added. Derrick Williams and Ricky Rubio will be asked to do even more for a short-handed Wolves team.

Andrei Kirilenko (strained left calf) says he won't play Thursday against the Lakers. The Wolves got out of practice Wednesday thanks to a half-court shot from J.J. Barea, but Kirilenko said he wouldn't have been able to participate if the team had worked out. Wolves beat writer Jerry Zgoda also said Kirilenko didn't appear confident about his chances to play after Thursday, which puts his status for Saturday's game very much in doubt. Mickael Gelabale will likely step in for Kirilenko on Thursday, but he's only worth a speculative add in deeper leagues.

Andrei Kirilenko strained his left calf in Tuesday's game against the Suns and he will not return. He's dealt with numerous injuries in his career and suffered a left calf strain back in April 2010. The Wolves tend to take it easy on Kirilenko when handling his injuries, so he could be out for Thursday's game against the Lakers. Mickael Gelabale figures fill the void, but is only worth a speculative add in very deep leagues.

Andrei Kirilenko says he hasn't made a decision on whether he'll stay with the Wolves beyond this year. Kirilenko can opt out of the second year of the two-year, $20 million deal he signed with the Timberwolves last summer. Kirilenko says he hasn't made any decisions yet and will wait until the summer to talk to his agent and make a decision. "So far, I like everything here except the result. We need to try to fix it. In summertime, I will sit with my agent, my family and look at it," Kirilenko said.

Andrei Kirilenko returned from a quad injury Wednesday and had 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, three blocks and a 3-pointer in a win over the Sixers. He's back and the Wolves have one of the best remaining fantasy schedules in the league. Yes, he's still going to be an injury concern going forward, but if he was dropped in your league, pick him up.

Andrei Kirilenko (quad) will play in Wednesday's game against the 76ers. Kirilenko sat out the final five games before the All-Star break, so his quad should be 100 percent. We'd expect the usual 33-35 minutes and versatile production. Kirilenko's return sends Mickael Gelabale back to the bench.

Andrei Kirilenko (quad) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Jazz. Rick Adelman previously said that AK-47 could be out through the All-Star break, and now that looks to be exactly what will happen. The Wolves are ridiculously banged up, and without Kirilenko, Derrick Wililams and Mickael Gelabale are expected to start up front.

Coach Rick Adelman says Andrei Kirilenko (quad) will miss at least the next two games. After a two-game road trip, the Wolves next play Wednesday against the Jazz. However, they have six days off after that game due to the All-Star break and it's hard to imagine the Wolves not giving Kirilenko the full time to heal. We'd call Kirilenko questionable at best for the Jazz game, but more than likely he'll sit until Feb. 20 against the Sixers.

Coach Rick Adelman said Andrei Kirilenko (quad) might not play until after next weekend's All-Star break. Kirilenko is notoriously susceptible to these type of soft-tissue injuries, so it wouldn't be the worst idea if the Wolves decided to hold him out an extra game or two with a four-day break looming. Minnesota's next game is Sunday in Memphis and at this point, the best we can call him is questionable, although even that seems a little too optimistic.

Andrei Kirilenko (quad) will not play in Friday's game against the Knicks. We all know how poorly Kirilenko's body responds to soft-tissue injuries. This right quad strain has now kept him out of two games and we can only consider him very questionable for Sunday's game in Memphis. Look for Mickael Gelabale, who had 10 points and three rebounds on Wednesday, to draw another start Friday.
