Taylor will start in right field and bat third Sunday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
He'll be picking up his fourth start in a row Sunday, with two of them coming versus right-handed pitchers and two versus lefties. Taylor doesn't yet appear to have seized a full-time role, as Milwaukee is likely to roll with Jackie Bradley, Avisail Garcia and Lorenzo Cain as its primary starters in the outfield while Christian Yelich (back) is on the shelf.

Taylor was recalled by the Brewers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor has hit .323/.400/.581 in 35 plate appearances for the Brewers this season but was optioned to the minors on Monday when Christian Yelich (back) returned from the injured list. Yelich was sent right back to the injured list Tuesday, so Taylor is set to get more opportunities with the major-league squad. He'll bat sixth and start in right field Tuesday against the Phillies.

Taylor was optioned to the Brewers' alternate training site Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor impressed in his time on the big-league roster, hitting .323/.400/.581 in 35 plate appearances. He's no longer needed with both Christian Yelich (back) and Lorenzo Cain (quadriceps) returning from the injured list, so he'll head to the minors to get regular at-bats and stay fresh for the next time the team needs another outfielder.

Taylor went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, three RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor thrived in the lead-off role with manager Craig Counsell deciding to give Kolten Wong the day off. The 27-year-old went back-to-back with pitcher Adrian Houser in the second inning to give his team a 2-1 lead. He would later get his second RBI on a groundout in the fourth and then capped off his stellar night with an RBI single to right. Taylor now has consecutive multi-hit games for the first time in his young career and is slashing .474/.565/.895 with two home runs, seven RBI and two runs scored in 11 games as a fill-in for the injured Christian Yelich (back) and Lorenzo Cain (quadriceps).

Taylor went 1-for-1 with a solo home run during Monday's 3-1 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor came up to the plate to begin the eighth as a pinch hitter and drove a Drew Pomeranz fastball 440 feet over the fence in right to extend the Brewers' lead to 3-1. It was the 27-year-old's first home run and second hit overall since being called up April 14, as he'll continue to hold a depth role while Lorenzo Cain (quadriceps) is on the 10-day injured list.

Taylor was recalled from the Brewers' alternate training site Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor was unable to break camp with the big-league club to begin the regular season, but he'll now serve as outfield depth after Lorenzo Cain (quadriceps) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Taylor appeared in 22 games for the Brewers last season and hit .237 with two home runs and six RBI.

The Brewers optioned Taylor to their alternate training site Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor lost out to Billy McKinney in the battle for the fifth and final spot in the Milwaukee outfield. The 27-year-old exited his final Cactus League game last weekend with a bruised thigh, but the Brewers' decision to option him rather than placing him on the injured list implies that he's healthy now.

Taylor suffered a bruised thigh during Saturday's spring game and will be held out for the final exhibition Tuesday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor isn't expected to miss much time as a result of the injury. He's played well for Milwaukee during the spring, hitting .293 with two home runs, four RBI and a stolen base, but he's unlikely to make the Opening Day roster with the abundance of outfield depth the Brewers currently possess.

Taylor added strength this offseason and has impressed the team, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell noted that Taylor has made the case to stick in the major leagues. A well-regarded prospect several years ago, Taylor managed only 53 plate appearances in the majors as he enters his age-27 season. The addition of Jackie Bradley makes Taylor's path to a roster spot more difficult, though he is vying with Billy McKinney for the fifth outfielder role.

Taylor went 2-for-3 with a home run in Sunday's spring opener.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor held his own last year in his first extended look at the big-league level, and he got his 2021 spring off to a good start. The Brewers' starting outfield is set as long as everyone is healthy, but a quality exhibition campaign could help Taylor open the regular season as the club's fourth outfielder.
