Taylor (oblique) will be placed on the injured list Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor suffered a right oblique injury during his second at-bat Friday, and he'll undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the severity of the issue. However, manager Craig Counsell revealed after the game that the outfielder will be forced to spend time on the injured list. Jackie Bradley and Jace Peterson will be available to fill Taylor's role as depth in the outfield.

Taylor exited Friday's game against the Nationals with right oblique tightness, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor started in left field and led off in Friday's contest, and he went 0-for-2 with a strikeout to begin the game. However, he was replaced defensively in the top of the fifth inning. The 27-year-old has shifted to a reserve role recently, but it's not yet clear whether the injury will limit his availability in the coming days.

Taylor remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The recent returns of Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich from the injured list have resulted in Taylor losing hold of an everyday role in the Milwaukee lineup after the 27-year-old had previously started 10 straight games between July 27 and Aug. 7. In the eight games since, Taylor has picked up only two starts. He at least made an impact when he was in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader versus Pittsburgh, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double in Milwaukee's 14-4 loss.

Taylor went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run in a 14-4 loss to the Pirates during the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
He took Bryse Wilson deep in the top of the fourth inning, tying the game at 4-4, but it was all downhill from there for Milwaukee. Taylor hadn't gone yard since July 24, snapping a 15-game homer drought during which he'd slashed .231/.286/.365, and on the season the 27-year-old is batting .249 with 10 homers and 37 RBI through 80 contests.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor's move to the bench ends a streak of 10 consecutive starts, during which he slashed .211/.286/.342 with four extra-base hits (three doubles, one triple) across 38 at-bats. He appears to have moved ahead of Jackie Bradley in Milwaukee's outfield pecking order, but Taylor may find himself on the bench more regularly now that Christian Yelich has returned from the COVID-19 injured list. Expect Yelich, Lorenzo Cain and Avisail Garcia to form Milwaukee's outfield more often than not.

Taylor will start in left field and lead off Sunday against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
With Kolten Wong getting a breather, Taylor will get a look in the table-setting role in what marks his fifth straight start. The recent return of Lorenzo Cain from the injured list appears to have hurt Taylor less than the struggling Jackie Bradley, who has sat out three of the past four games. Christian Yelich's eventual return from the COVID-19 injured list will likely prove more punitive for Taylor, who is holding down a strong .831 OPS on the season.

Taylor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
After hitting his first career grand slam Friday, Taylor kept the good times rolling with another homer on Saturday. The 27-year-old has been red hot since the All-Star break, batting .389 with two home runs and seven RBI. While the outfielder has been used as a pinch hitter for many of his plate appearances this season, his current run of form might require the Brewers to reconsider his role.

Taylor went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and a walk in Friday's 7-1 win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor put Milwaukee comfortably ahead and capped off a six-run seventh inning with his first career slam. The 27-year-old is slashing .240/.331/.440 with eight homers, 30 RBI and 20 runs scored through 172 plate appearances. He has mostly been limited to a bench role, starting just three of the last eight games, likely due to Milwaukee facing seven right-handed starters in that span.

Taylor went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run Saturday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor entered the game in the top of the seventh as a defensive replacement over Christian Yelich and made his presence felt on his lone at-bat, hitting his seventh homer of the campaign and tying the score at 3-3. That homer snapped a four-game hitless streak for Taylor, as well as ending a drought of 20 games without a homer.

Taylor went 1-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored and two walks in Thursday's win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor plated home both Christian Yelich and Omar Narvaez with a two-run single in the top of the ninth inning, and this was just the second time all season long he managed to reach base at least three times. The 27-year-old only has a .663 OPS over his last eight games while also getting more time in the outfield, but he'd need to improve his overall numbers to justify the increase in at-bats he's receiving of late.
