Taylor is 7-for-17 (.412) with two home runs and seven RBI through four games with Triple-A San Antonio.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor started his season with a bang, homering off a rehabbing Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) in San Antonio's opener; and he has not slowed down since. Taylor, as just one of just six outfielders on the Brewers' 40-man roster and with more Triple-A experience than fellow 40-manner and San Antonio teammate Troy Stokes, is likely the top option should the Brewers need to add an outfielder from the minor-league ranks for any reason.

The Brewers optioned Taylor to their minor-league camp Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 2012 second-round pick fared well in Cactus League play this spring, going 9-for-29 at the dish with a home run, stolen base and 1:4 BB:K. Taylor will open the season at Triple-A San Antonio and should rank near the top of the list for a promotion to the big club if an extra outfielder is needed at some point.

Taylor hit a two-run home run in Tuesday's spring game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor has seen extended action this spring, receiving 29 at-bats over 14 games, and he has hit the ball well, posting a .310/.333/.517 slash line with four extra-base hits -- Tuesday's homer and three doubles -- while striking out just four times. Taylor figures to open the season in the minors, but after being added to the 40-man roster during the offseason, he should have a chance to make his big-league debut at some point in 2019.

Taylor was added to the Brewers' 40-man roster Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor was added to the 40-man roster in order to protect the soon-to-be 25-year-old from the upcoming Rule 5 draft. A second-round pick in 2012, Taylor hit .278/.321/.504 with 20 homers and 13 stolen bases for Triple-A Colorado Springs in 2018.

Taylor hit .278/.321/.504 with 20 home runs, 80 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 119 games with Triple-A Colorado Springs this season.
EDGE Analysis
Once considered one of the Brewers' top prospects, Taylor endured a few trying seasons once reaching the Double-A level late in 2014, but he took full advantage of the hitter-friendly PCL in 2018 and finished with the best power numbers of his career. Taylor will turn 25 in January, so he's not going to jump back onto prospect lists during the offseason. However, he will be eligible for the Rule 5 draft for the first time, and there's a chance he could get a look from another squad if left unprotected by the Brewers.

Taylor is 13-for-38 (.342) with two home runs, seven RBI, three steals and a 3:5 BB:K through 11 games with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor had a few rough years after jumping onto the prospect scene after a fine 2014 season, culminating in an injury-riddled 2017 that saw him play just 32 minor-league games. The Brewers still decided to advance him to the Triple-A level for the first time, though, and he has taken full advantage of the hitter-friendly conditions in the PCL. At 24 years old Taylor is unlikely to find himself back on prospect lists anytime soon, but he is doing his best to show he is still worthy of consideration for a spot on a major-league roster.

Taylor (hamstring) is 3-for-13 (.231) over five games since joining Double-A Biloxi.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor missed the early part of this season while recovering from a hamstring strain, but he returned to game action with the Brewers' Arizona League squad in late June and has not experienced any setbacks since. Taylor was once one of the Brewers' top prospects, but he struggled with the bat the last couple years, and will look to get back on track over the rest of the current campaign.

Taylor will miss 4-6 weeks with a strained hamstring, Chris Harris of the Biloxi Shuckers Media Relations Department reports.
EDGE Analysis
The outfield prospect has already missed a good portion of spring training with an oblique issue and it appears he'll be missing a bit more time with the latest ailment. Taylor has played at least 128 games with Double-A Biloxi over the past two seasons, but struggled to a .232 average last year.

Taylor is dealing with an oblique injury he suffered earlier in camp, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The specifics of the injury still aren't known, but it doesn't seem to be anything too serious. Oblique injuries can usually hold players out for longer than expected, so Taylor likely will need a little time before he is back in action.

Taylor went 13-for-31 (.419) with two home runs, nine RBI, and eight runs scored over his last eight games with Double-A Biloxi. Taylor had a quiet month of April, but he has improved since, recording 14 extra-base hits, 24 RBI, and six steals over his last 42 games after putting up just three extra-base hits, four RBI, and no steals in his first 19 contests of the year. He is seeing his first extended action at the Double-A level and figures to remain there for the duration of the current campaign.
