Gosewisch went 0-for-4 in the Diamondbacks' 6-2 loss to the Giants on Thursday. Gosewisch hasn't succeeded in limited time this season, batting just .211 on the season. He has one hit in his last 16 at-bats. He'll likely not get much time for the rest of the season, serving as a back up to Miguel Montero.

Gosewisch went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in the Diamondback's 3-2 win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Tuffy Gosewisch went 1-for-3 with two RBI in Sunday's loss to the Padres. Gosewisch provided the Diamondbacks a short-lived lead with his two-run single in the fourth inning. It as Gosewisch's only hit of the game, and the backup catcher is batting .125 with a .438 OPS. He won't be supplanting Miguel Montero anytime soon.

Tuffy Gosewisch hit his first home run of the season in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs. Getting a spot start in place of Miguel Montero, Gosewisch provided most of the offense for the struggling Diamondbacks. The blast, off Cubs starter Jason Hammel, was Gosewisch's first of his career. His first homer was also his first hit in 13 at-bats this season.

Tuffy Gosewisch (calf) has been cleared to return to game action. Gosewisch has been nursing a calf ailment for the last week but is feeling better. He's competing for the backup catcher job this spring.

Tuffy Gosewisch has been sidelined the last couple days with a calf injury. "It's not playable right now, but I think it'll just be a couple of days until I'm back on the field," Gosewisch said Saturday. "I made a lot of progress (Friday). (Friday) felt OK, (Saturday) felt really good. I think I should be running (Sunday) and hopefully doing baseball stuff soon after that." Gosewisch is competing for the backup catcher job this spring.

Diamondbacks recalled C Tuffy Gosewisch from Triple-A Reno. Gosewisch will serve as emergency catching depth for the D'Backs over the final month of the regular season.

Diamondbacks optioned C Tuffy Gosewisch to Triple-A Reno. Gosewisch hit .185/.179/.185 over eight games while providing catcher depth with Miguel Montero out. Now that Montero's back, he's no longer need. He should return as the third catcher next month, though.
