Gosewich went 1-for-4 with his first homer of the year and a pair of strikeouts Saturday against the Cubs. Gosewisch has been playing well since the signing of Jarrod Saltalamacchia, as he's 14-for-45 (.311) since May 6. He'll surely lose playing time once Salty makes his Arizona debut, so although Gosewich has been ore useful lately, his fantasy utility is limited to very deep or NL-only formats.

Gosewisch is not in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins. Gosewisch has made three straight starts behind the plate, but will give way to Jordan Pacheco for the afternoon contest following Wednesday's night game. The 31-year-old Gosewisch had been showing signs of improvement after a slow start, hitting safely in seven of his last eight ames and batting .298 in May.

Gosewisch is out of the lineup Sunday against the Phillies. Gosewisch had started the first two games of the series, going 1-for-7 at the plate over that span. He'll take a seat Sunday, however, with Jordan Pacheco set to man the backstop.

Gosewisch is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals. Gosewisch, who is 10-for-27 (.370) this month, will get the day off with the Diamondbacks playing a day game following a night game. Jordan Pacheco will get the start behind the plate in Gosewisch's place.

Gosewisch went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Tuesday in a win over Washington. Since the Diamondbacks were first rumored to be interested in Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Gosewisch has caught fire, putting up a .429/.435/.619 line in 21 at-bats over the past week. The hot streak still only raises his season line to .236/.274/.281, which makes him viable only in leagues where catcher is deep, but it might ensure that he keeps getting playing time as Saltalamacchia tries to work his way to Arizona.

The Diamondbacks are expected to sign Jarrod Saltalamacchia, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. While it's not clear whether Saltalamacchia will be signed to a major league or minor league deal, when he reaches the D-Backs it will likely limit Gosewisch's at-bats, if not move him to the bench outright. His limited fantasy value will be reduced even further, making him droppable in almost all leagues.

Gosewisch went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a run, and his first stolen base of the year in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Rockies. Gosewisch boosted his average to .208 with the performance, but he is still underperforming at the dish and losing time to Jordan Pacheco. He is nearly unplayable, except in deep leagues, right now.

Gosewisch is not in the lineup Monday against the Rockies. Gosewisch will get his third day off in five games Monday, possibly signifying a switch in the ranks among the Diamondbacks catchers. Jordan Pacheco will start behind the plate again Monday, batting seventh.

Gosewisch is out of the lineup Saturday against the Dodgers on Saturday. Gosewisch has struggled mightily at the plate to begin the season, and has collected no hits in his last 11 at-bats. He won't play Saturday against Dodgers, with Jordan Pacheco starting in his place and batting seventh for the Diamondbacks.

Gosewisch is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rockies. Gosewisch just received a day off Sunday, but he'll get another one after catching back-to-back games as his average has dipped down to .177 on the season. Jordan Pachecho will fill in and be behind the plate Wednesday in his stead.
