Gosewisch is "100 percent ready to go" for spring training after dealing with an ACL tear through most of the entire 2015 season, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gosewisch appeared in just 38 games in 2015 due to the injury, but he hit just .211/.261/.281 before he went down. He'll compete for the backup catcher job, but it'll be a battle, as he'll have to beat out Chris Herrmann and Oscar Hernandez to make the team.

Gosewisch was transferred to the 60-day DL on Saturday. Gosewisch's season came to a close in late May when he sustained a torn ACL in his left knee. Thus, this move was merely procedural in order to open up a spot on the 40-man roster.

Gosewisch (knee) will undergo surgery to repair his torn ACL in his left knee Friday. Gosewisch had already been ruled out for the rest of 2015 after tearing his ACL, so this is just a bookkeeping note. Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Welington Castillo figure to see the bulk of the starts at catcher in Arizona going forward.

Gosewisch (knee) has been diagnosed with a complete tear of his ACL and is done for the season. Gosewisch suffered the injury last week running to first base. It brings to an end his first season as the D-Backs' starting catcher, during which he posted a .211/.261/.281 line. Arizona will turn to Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Jordan Pacheco behind the plate. Gosewisch should be ready for spring traniing next year.

Gosewisch indicated Friday (knee) he has likely suffered a left ACL tear, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports. Gosewisch's stint on the disabled list would be a long one if he's indeed suffered the tear he believes is the issue. If that's the case, it could cost him the remainder of the season, and the combination of Jarrod Saltalamaccha and Jordan Pacheco would likely take on catching duties moving forward.

Gosewisch (knee) was placed on the 15-day DL with a left ACL injury Friday. The report doesn't elaborate on the extent of the injury, and while there hasn't been anything to indicate that it's this serious, an ACL tear would end Gosewisch's season. For now, Gosewisch will be replaced on the roster by Jarrod Saltalamacchia, who figures to split playing time with Jordan Pacheco.

Gosewisch (knee) will undergo an MRI Thursday Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports. Gosewisch was able to walk off the field under his own power, but if he is going to miss time, the Diamondbacks will have to make a roster move, most likely bringing up Jarrod Saltalamacchia or Peter O'Brien from Triple-A Reno.

Gosewisch left Wednesday's game with a jammed left knee. Gosewisch injured his left knee trying to run out an infield single and landed awkwardly on first base. He was able to walk off the field under his own power and was replaced by Jordan Pacheco. This seems like a positive sign for Gosewisch, with the initial injury seeming like it could place him on the disabled list.

Gosewisch left Wednesday's game against the Cardinals holding his knee after trying to run out an infield single, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports. Gosewisch was able to walk off the field under his own power, but this does not bode well for the catcher. He landed awkwardly on the base and started walking gingerly on his left leg. An official diagnosis should be released late Wednesday night or Thursday.
