Travis Snider left Tuesday's game against the Dodgers for precautionary reasons after aggravating his right hamstring.
Snider was back in the lineup Tuesday for the first time since Saturday. However, he tweaked his hamstring again on a double in the bottom of the third inning and was removed for a pinch-hitter in the eighth. It doesn't appear to be a major concern at the moment, but the Pirates could give him another couple days off.

Pirates acquired OF Travis Snider from the Blue Jays for RHP Brad Lincoln.
An interesting pickup for the Pirates, who have been connected to bigger names like Justin Upton and Shane Victorino in recent weeks. The 24-year-old Snider has stumbled in multiple opportunities in the majors and may always be a free-swinger, but he still has the potential to be a legitimate middle-of-the-order power threat. It's a nice under-the-radar move by Pirates GM Neal Huntington.

Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said Travis Snider will play regularly at one of the corner outfield spots.
He'll get one and Anthony Gose will get the other, with Rajai Davis moving back into a part-time role. Whoever plays better over the next couple weeks will stay on the roster after Jose Bautista (wrist) returns. Snider batted .335/.423/.598 with 13 homers and 56 RBI over 56 games at Triple-A this season and is worth a gamble in deeper mixed leagues.
