Travis Snider stayed sizzling on Friday, going 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, run scored and stolen base in Toronto's 7-1 win over the Yankees. Snider is now batting .421 with eight doubles and 11 RBI in nine games since rejoining the Blue Jays on July 4. The sample size is incredibly small, but considering Snider's pedigree and history of minor-league success, it's fair to wonder if perhaps this will finally be the call-up where he puts it all together.

Travis Snider had a big night Friday, homering and driving in five runs in a win over the Indians. Snider was swinging a hot bat at Triple-A Las Vegas at the time of his recall, and it's carried over with the Blue Jays, as he's batting .409 with a homer and eight RBI in five games. He's worth adding in mixed leagues if he's still on the waiver wire.

In his first game back from the minors, Travis Snider delivered three doubles and drove in two runs Monday against the Red Sox. Snider has hit just three homers in 293 at-bats between Triple-A and the majors this year, but he now has 28 doubles. It's a very odd development, given that Snider had 25 homers versus 40 doubles in 612 major league at-bats going into the season.

Blue Jays recalled OF Travis Snider from Triple-A Las Vegas. Snider went 6-for-13 with two doubles and a triple last week for Las Vegas after gaining clearance to return from a mild concussion. He has revamped his swing and the Jays believe he is finally ready to contribute at a high level in the majors. The 23-year-old will serve as Toronto's primary right fielder going forward. Eric Thames will man left.

Blue Jays manager John Farrell said Travis Snider could be called up before the All-Star break. After going hitless Thursday for Triple-A Las Vegas in his first game back from a concussion, Snider has picked up three hits in each of the last two contests and is hitting .333 there for the year. He's been playing center field for the 51s and could force Rajai Davis to the bench when he brought up.

Travis Snider (concussion) has been cleared to resume playing in games for Triple-A Las Vegas. Snider passed all of his necessary concussion-related tests on Thursday and should be marched out to center field in Vegas this weekend. The talented 23-year-old has been hitting the ball well since his demotion and will try to climb back to the major leagues later this summer.

Blue Jays manager John Farrell said Tuesday that Travis Snider will continue to play center field with Triple-A Las Vegas when he returns from a concussion. Snider suffered a concussion earlier this month when he was hit on the bill of his helmet with a pitch. While the 23-year-old has primarily played left field in the major leagues, he has appeared in four games in center with the 51s this season.

A neurologist told Travis Snider (concussion) Tuesday that he's optimistic the outfielder will be able to return to the field soon. Snider says he's symptom-free after being hit in the brim of his helmet while playing with Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday. The official test results will come back Wednesday, but it sounds like it won't be an extended absence for Snider.

Travis Snider (concussion) is scheduled to see a neurologist Tuesday in Las Vegas. Snider suffered a concussion after being hit in the brim of his helmet while playing with Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday. "The initial concussion has been confirmed," said Blue Jays manager John Farrell. "He is not traveling with the team to Reno and until [Tuesday], we'll have no more definitive news on the current status and any kind of projected return to play." There's no timetable for his return.

Travis Snider has been diagnosed with a concussion as a result of getting beaned in the head during a game for Triple-A Las Vegas Friday. A tough break for Snider, who has put up a .324/.396/.468 batting line with two homers over 188 at-bats for Las Vegas since being demoted in late April. He probably wasn't terribly far from a promotion back to Toronto, but obviously he'll be out for a while now.
