D'Arnaud hit his first home run as part of a 3-for-4 game with two runs scored and two RBI in Monday's win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
After hitting 12 home runs in just 67 games, d'Arnaud needed 24 to get on the board in 2016. This marks just his fourth extra-base hit in 89 plate appearances, so he's going to need to get into an extended hot streak before we can really believe his power is back to where it used to be. After hitting .268/.340/.485 last year, his batting line is just .268/.326/.341 in 2016.

D'Arnaud is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Cubs, MLB.com's Anthony DiComo reports.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud has been behind the plate for three straight contests, but will give way to Rene Rivera on Sunday afternoon. The 27-year-old backstop's bat is just starting to heat up when the Mets need it most, as d'Arnaud is 5-for-9 at the plate over his last three games.

D'Arnaud had two more hits Saturday and is now 8-for-17 his last six games
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud is 10-for-32 since coming off the disabled list and pushing for a more out of the eight-spot. A few more solid games and manager Terry Collins may have no choice but to move him up in the batting order.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After starting two straight and five of the last six games, d'Arnaud will take the night off in favor of Rene Rivera. D'Arnaud has struggled to put up anywhere near the .268/.340/.485 line that he did in 2015, as his batting average currently sits at a lowly .206 through 19 games played. If he can start to produce offensively it would bring a much-needed boost to the a Mets lineup that ranks 28th in the league with 3.61 runs scored per game.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets will rest d'Arnaud after he spent the last three games behind the plate, allowing Rene Rivera to pick up a start behind the plate. D'Arnaud hasn't been able to get much going since returning from a shoulder injury earlier last week, going 2-for-15 with three RBI.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals, according to Adam Rubin of ESPN.com.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud will be the Mets' regular catcher again now that he is back from the disabled list, but he will be held out of Wednesday's lineup with the Mets playing a day game following a night game. Rene Rivera will get the start behind the plate in d'Arnaud's place.

D'Arnaud (shoulder) was activated from the disabled list on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, d'Arnaud will join the Mets for their game against the Royals on Tuesday. This move sent struggling catcher Kevin Plawecki down to Triple-A Las Vegas. D'Arnaud has been out since April 25 with a strained rotator cuff. Now that he's back, he'll likely be in the lineup almost every game, including Tuesday's. D'Arnaud is in Tuesday's lineup and will bat eighth.

D'Arnaud (shoulder) will serve as the designated hitter Friday, then catch Saturday and Sunday for Triple-A Las Vegas before rejoining the Mets for their game Tuesday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud, out since April 25 with a strained rotator cuff, has recently progressed to catching a full game. He was able to do so earlier this week with no setbacks, putting him in line to be activated July 21. Once activated, d'Arnaud should be in the lineup nearly every day behind the plate for the Mets, whose lineup is missing several injured regulars.

D'Arnaud (shoulder) is expected to return from the DL on Tuesday, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud recently underwent a rehab assignment with High-A St. Lucie and connected for seven hits in 26 at bats while collecting three runs and four RBI. His return to major league action has been a long time coming as a setback delayed his recovery but it appears as if he's nearing 100 percent. If he stays healthy throughout the remainder of the week, he'll likely return to the Mets lineup for the start of their series with Kansas City on June 21.

D'Arnaud (shoulder) is expected to catch nine innings for High-A St. Lucie on Monday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud has been taking reps primarily as the DH in his rehab assignment, but made his first start at catcher Saturday, and went 2-for-4 at the dish in the effort. It now looks as if the young backstop is starting to pick up the pace, and a return to the majors within 7-8 days is apparently a realistic possibility. If d'Arnaud can bring any offense to the Mets, it will surely be an upgrade on the current situation, as the team isn't getting much offense out of either Rene Rivera (.143) or Kevin Plawecki (.204).
