D'Arnaud is hitting second in the order for Friday's game against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud is typically slotted around the seventh spot in the order, but will head all the way up to bat behind Curtis Granderson during the Mets' second game of their series against Colorado. He will be behind the plate and should be rested up after getting a day off for Thursday's outing.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup Thursday against the Rockies, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports.
EDGE Analysis
He started the last two games, but will take a seat for Thursday's day game, making way for Rene Rivera behind the dish. D'Arnaud is hitting .246/.299/.333 with two home runs in 137 plate appearances this season, but there is more upside in his bat than he has shown so far and he should still be rostered in the majority of formats.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo.
EDGE Analysis
As was going to be the case before Monday's game was rained out, d'Arnaud will cede the catching duties to Rene Rivera with Noah Syndergaard on the mound for the Mets. The Mets will play again Tuesday night, and it seems likely d'Arnaud will start that game so Rivera does not have to catch 18 innings Tuesday.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud will sit for the second consecutive game as Rene Rivera picks up another start behind the plate. According to Adam Rubin of ESPN.com manager Terry Collins likes Rivera catching Noah Syndergaard, so this could result in a few less starts for d'Arnaud if the trend continues. D'Arnaud is hitting a measly .238 since the All-Star break, but his job as the starter is still secure.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup Sunday against the Marlins, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After starting three consecutive games, the Mets opted to give D'Arnaud the day off and put Rene Rivera behind the plate. Like many of his teammates, d'Arnaud's batting has been rather subpar this season, as he's hitting just .246/.302/.339. However, he's shown improvement as of late and has gone 4-for-11 over his last three starts.

Rene Rivera will catch for starer Noah Syndergaard as d'Arnaud sits for the second time in three games. D'Arnaud hit his first two home runs of the season this week, giving him 14 hits in 44 at-bats since his return from the DL (.318 average). He remains the primary backstop in New York but he's among the biggest injury risks in baseball.
