Reds recalled LHP Tony Cingrani from Triple-A Louisville. Cingrani will get the ball in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Giants. Because he's the designated 26th man, he'll be sent back down after the game but is allowed to return this weekend for his next start.

He struck out five and now has 46 strikeouts in 40 major league innings. It's hard to see how the Reds will demote this guy a second time if he continues to pitch this well. His next turn will come Sunday at home against the Brewers.
