Moya is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
With J.D. Martinez (elbow) on the shelf, Moya had started all four games in right field since being recalled from Triple-A last week. The 24-year-old went 5-for-17 (.294) in that span and figures to see the bulk of the playing time in Martinez's absence, but he'll give way to Mike Aviles on Tuesday.

Moya went 3-for-5 with a solo homer Sunday at the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Moya's first bomb of the season gave the Tigers an early lead in a game they'd need 13 innings to eventually win. With JD Martinez (elbow) out, he took advantage of his three starts this weekend by going 5-for-13 with a pair of extra-base hits.

Moya is starting in right field and hitting seventh Friday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
With J.D. Martinez out 4-to-6 weeks with a fractured elbow, Moya figures to get the chance to be the Tigers' everyday right fielder going forward. The 24-year-old showed great strides at Triple-A, getting his K-rate down to 21.4 percent, which makes his plus-plus raw power much more intriguing. That said, he did this in his second go-round at Triple-A and he's set to turn 25 in August, so he could have just been settling in as a Quadruple-A hitter. Time will tell, but there's big-time power upside in the short term if he has indeed figured it all out.

Moya was recalled by the Tigers on Thursday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With J.D Martinez (elbow) set to be on the disabled list for 4-to-6 weeks, the Tigers recalled Moya, an outfielder with some major league experience. The hulking 6-foot-7 Moya batted .281 with two doubles and two triples during his nine-game stint with the Tigers earlier in the season, and his pop has been apparent at Triple-A Toledo where he's hit 13 home runs on the year.

Moya was optioned to Triple-A Toledo following Friday's game.
EDGE Analysis
The team needed to clear a spot on the roster for Matt Boyd, Saturday's starter in Oakland, and Moya was the casualty. Moya fared well in his nine-game look with Detroit, going 9-for-32 (.281 average) with two doubles and two triples, but his 1:10 BB:K speaks to the lack of plate discipline.

Moya was added to the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Moya was not originally slated to start Tuesday, but manager Brad Ausmus moved Mike Aviles from left field to second base after Ian Kinsler (illness) was scratched, and that opened up a spot for Moya in left field. Moya will hit sixth against Phillies starter Jeremy Hellickson.

Moya will start and bat sixth for Monday's game against the Phillies after Justin Upton was scratched with right quad tightness, Katie Strang of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old is hitting .318 in limited playing time with the Tigers but will likely receive more starts should Upton's injury cause him to miss significant time.

Moya went 3-for-4 with a double and triple Sunday in a 6-5 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Moya has gone 6-for-15 (.400) since his call-up and that's been good enough that the Tigers sent Anthony Gose to Triple-A. Moya will get some at bats even when Cameron Maybin arrives back from the disabled list, so he may be a worthy addition to your roster.

Moya will start in left field and bat seventh Sunday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
For at least a little bit, manager Brad Ausmus seems content to experiment with Moya as his everyday left fielder, as this will mark the 24-year-old's fourth start in a row. The Tigers have made room for Moya by moving Justin Upton to center field, relegating Anthony Gose to a bench role.

Moya is in the lineup Thursday against Baltimore. He'll bat seventh in the order and start in left field.
EDGE Analysis
Moya immediately joins the lineup after being promoted from Triple-A Toledo earlier Thursday. The 24-year-old outfielder clubbed nine home runs and 11 doubles in 126 at-bats at Triple-A Toledo prior to being called up Thursday. He provides a rare left-handed bat in the Tigers lineup as they prepare to face right-hander Ubaldo Jiminez in the series opener.
