Moya was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Moya will provide an extra bench bat with Miguel Cabrera nursing a biceps strain, although it's uncertain how long he'll be up. He could be a roster casualty when Erick Aybar, whom the Tigers acquired from Atlanta, ultimately joins the team. The 25-year-old Moya should be up for good when rosters expand but he may play primarily off the bench, as the Tigers are currently set at the corner outfield positions.

Moya was optioned to Triple-A Toledo following Saturday's game.
EDGE Analysis
After a callup June 17, Moya initially mashed (four HR, 1.218 OPS in eight games), but his bat has gone relatively silent since. In his past nine games, Moya was 3-for-26 (.115) with 15 strikeouts in 26 at-bats.

Moya is not in the lineup for Saturday's matchup with Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Moya will get the night game off as Mike Aviles gets the call in right field, batting sixth. Moya has yet to get it going in July, hitting 3-for-23 (.130) with 14 strikeouts this month.

He'll take a seat against right-hander R.A. Dickey to afford Mike Aviles a spot start in right field Sunday.

Moya homered, a solo shot, in a 2-for-4 game Monday against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Moya continues to show big power since taking over for the injured J.D. Martinez in the Tigers outfield. He now has 11 extra-base hits in just 21 games and raised his slugging percentage to a stellar .616 with Monday's effort. As long as Moya mashes like this, the Tigers will have a hard time keeping him out of the lineup.

Moya (knee) is back in the lineup Wednesday, Tony Paul of the Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old outfielder missed three games due to right knee soreness, but is in the lineup after testing the knee on the field before the game against Miami. Since J.D. Martinez went down with a right elbow injury, Moya has been the most consistent replacement, hitting 10-for-27 with three home runs.

Moya (knee) is out of the lineup for a third consecutive game Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Moya has been dealing with a sore right knee for the last several days and it appears he'll need additional time to recuperate. The 24-year-old has indicated that the injury is not serious, however, so he should still be considered day-to-day for now. The outfielder has collected two three-hit games in his last seven, homering three times during that span.

Moya is out of the lineup Sunday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Though the Indians are bringing a right-hander to the mound for the second straight day, Moya will again be confined to a bench role. With a 10-for-27 display -- including three homers and five extra-base knocks in total -- since he was recalled June 16 to serve as the primary right fielder when J.D. Martinez (elbow) hit the shelf, Moya's performance certainly hasn't dictated a benching, so perhaps he may be nursing an undisclosed injury. We'll have to wait and see how the distribution of starts in right field shakes out over the next few days before getting a better read on Moya's role, but manager Brad Ausmus will go with Mike Aviles in right field for a second consecutive game Sunday.

Moya went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo homers and three runs scored Wednesday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
After notching just two multi-hit games and zero homers over his first 11 games of the season, Moya's exploded for three homers and six hits over the last three games. He's still too much of a free swinger, as evidenced by his miserable 1:15 BB:K, but the power is certainly for real and he's been seeing consistent playing time since J.D. Martinez (elbow) hit the DL, making Moya an intriguing pickup across a variety of fantasy formats.
