Greene's scheduled start Tuesday in Baltimore has been postponed due to a rainout, Marly Rivera of ESPN Deportes reports.
Instead of fitting in a doubleheader Wednesday, the divisional rivals will delay the twin bill to Sept. 12, Eric Boland of Newsday reports. Michael Pineda (back) is slated for activation from the DL in order to start Wednesday's series finale, but Greene's recent nod (eight scoreless innings against the Tigers) could spur the Yankees to give Pineda additional rest for his first start since Apr. 23.

Greene (3-1) silenced the Tigers over eight shutout innings Thursday, allowing five hits and three walks while striking out five.
Greene actually pitched into the ninth, giving up a leadoff single before being yanked for closer David Robertson, who shut things down for the 1-0 win. Greene hadn't completed six innings in any of his prior three starts, so this is a nice improvement for him. He'll get the Orioles in Baltimore on Tuesday.

Shane Greene surrendered four runs in 5 2/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Rangers.
In a way, the outing was kind of impressive: Greene pitched around three of his own errors, plus one from Brian Roberts. The Yankees committed five errors in all in the game, without ever allowing an unearned run. Greene gave up five hits, walked one and struck out five in his first loss in three major league starts.

Shane Greene delivered 7 1/3 scoreless innings Saturday in the Yankees' 3-0 blanking of the Orioles.
Greene struck out nine and surrendered only four hits in the dominant outing. He looks to be locked into a rotation spot with the Yankees, but his numbers at Triple-A were never very good and the 25-year-old right-hander is probably due for some regression in the second half.

Shane Greene will start Saturday in Baltimore.
Greene earned another turn in the Yankees' rotation after throwing six innings of two-run ball in a win Monday against the Indians. He had poor numbers this year at Triple-A and is still not a great fantasy bet.

Shane Greene pitched six innings of two-run ball to earn a victory in his spot start Monday against the Indians.
Greene was needed to replace Vidal Nuno tonight with Brandon McCarthy not yet ready to pitch. He'll probably be sent right back to Triple-A, but keeping him in the rotation over Chase Whitley should be a consideration.

Yankees recalled RHP Shane Greene from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Greene is making a spot start for the Yankees on Monday night in Cleveland. It was supposed to be Vidal Nuno's turn, but he was traded to the Diamondbacks on Sunday for Brandon McCarthy. Greene owns a 4.81 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 57/26 K/BB ratio in 66 1/3 innings this season at the Triple-A level. He's not recommended for fantasy use outside of AL-only formats.

Yankees optioned RHP Shane Greene to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
The 25-year-old appeared in one game during his brief stay with the Yankees, issuing three walks in 1/3 of an inning. He'll continue to function as organizational bullpen depth in the minor leagues.

Yankees recalled RHP Shane Greene from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Greene was called to the major leagues earlier this month to serve as the 26th man in a doubleheader, but he did not make an appearance. The right-handed reliever should actually get into a game this time around.
