Lugo (5-2) gave up four runs (three earned) on eight hits while striking out just one in Tuesday's win over San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
He gave up two home runs, which is quite uncharacteristic for the 27-year-old righty, as he'd allowed just 11 through his first 100.2 MLB innings. Lugo isn't much of a strikeout artist, but he does keep the ball on the ground and keep his walk rate low enough to be a decent back-of-the-rotation starter. For fantasy purposes, that means he's best used selectively, but he also isn't prone to ratio-destroying implosions. He'll take his next turn Sunday in Seattle.

Lugo held the Cardinals at bay Thursday, tossing 6.2 innings of one-run ball while giving up just four hits and a walk. He also struck out five, but came away with a no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
The young right-hander threw nearly 70 percent of his pitches for strikes, but the Mets' bats were unable to pick up the slack to get Lugo the W. This marks his second consecutive quality start, as he now possesses a 4.05 ERA along with a 33:14 K:BB in 46.2 innings this season. He's expected to take the mound next in San Diego on Tuesday.

Lugo allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five batters through 6.2 innings during Saturday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Outside of a rough outing against the Nationals (six runs allowed through five innings), Lugo has fared well for the Mets and fantasy owners. He's sporting a 4.50 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 6.3 K/9 through 40 innings for the campaign, so expectations should remain in check moving forward, but Lugo is at worst a streaming option or low-priced flier in daily contests when the Mets draw a favorable matchup. Lugo projects to face St. Louis at Citi Field in his next start.

Lugo (3-2) gave up six runs on 10 hits and a pair of walks over five innings Tuesday, suffering a loss at the hands of the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Pitching in the nation's capital on Independence Day, the Louisiana native wasn't able to continue the decent success he experienced in his first four starts of 2017, though he had a solid outing going until the Nats got to him for a four-run rally in the sixth inning. Fantasy owners should continue to view Lugo as a reasonable pitcher who's streamable in the right matchups, but he's probably not a roster regular in most leagues. He won't make his next start until after the All-Star break.

Lugo (3-1) held the Marlins to three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over six innings Thursday, striking out four in a 6-3 victory.
EDGE Analysis
With the Mets' rotation banged up, Lugo's return from injury has been huge, as he's delivered steady (if certainly unspectacular) work on the mound. The sophomore righty doesn't have much in the way of swing-and-miss stuff, but he's a capable arm for the back end of a rotation. Lugo's effectively the Mets' No. 3 starter right now, which is certainly not ideal for them, but fantasy owners in deeper leagues can squeeze some value out of him.

Lugo (2-1) allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks with two strikeouts over 5.2 innings in Friday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Lugo missed what would have been his third consecutive start in three tries, but he still did enough to keep the Mets in the game. It was a sloppy effort, though -- he induced just five swinging strikes and used 95 pitches without even completing the sixth inning. Despite the rough outing, though, Lugo still owns a 3.72 ERA in three starts, which the Mets will gladly take given the state of their banged-up rotation.

Lugo gave up four runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 6.2 innings Saturday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
It was a very strong outing, save for a pair of long balls surrendered to Trea Turner and Jose Lobaton in the first and second inning, respectively. He has logged quality starts in each of his two starts this season, and sports an 11:4 K:BB in 13.2 innings. Lugo has appeal in standard leagues, and can even be trotted out in shallow formats for the right matchup. One such matchup will come Friday in San Francisco.

Lugo (1-0) allowed just a single run on six hits and two walks while striking out six batters during Sunday's win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
An elbow injury held Lugo out of action until this point, but he showed absolutely no rust in his season debut Sunday. The 27-year-old righty posted an impressive 2.67 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through eight starts last year, so he is definitely on the fantasy radar. Lugo should remain in the rotation for the foreseeable future and projects to face the Nationals in his next start.

Lugo (elbow) was activated from the 60-day disabled list ahead of his Sunday start against the Braves, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lugo has been sidelined for the entirety of the early 2017 campaign due to an elbow ailment but is set to make his season debut Sunday against the Braves. Lugo was a real asset for the Mets last season, posting a 2.67 ERA over 64 innings, which included eight starts.

Lugo (elbow) will start Sunday's game against the Braves, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lugo impressed during his rehab stint, so he'll rejoin the rotation as expected. He'll line up to face Atlanta left-hander Jaime Garcia for the final game of the weekend series, which will likely bump Tyler Pill and/or Robert Gsellman from the rotation depending on how the Mets opt to manage their rotation moving forward.
