Nolan Reimold (hamstring) could remain on his rehab assignment a bit longer. The plan has been to activate Reimold early this week. It still may happen, but the Orioles are considering giving him more rehab time since he's 1-for-17 with seven strikeouts at Double-A Bowie. The good news is that his hamstring is feeling fine.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that Nolan Reimold (hamstring) felt good after his first rehab game with Double-A Bowie on Tuesday. Reimold, out since May 11 with a right hamstring strain, went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts as the designated hitter. He's slated to start in left field on Wednesday. Barring any setbacks, he should rejoin the Orioles' lineup by the end of the month.

Nolan Reimold (hamstring) could begin a minor league rehab assignment next week. Reimold wasn't able to return when he was first eligible earlier this week, but he's finally making progress. Barring any setbacks, he appears on track to rejoin the Orioles' lineup around mid-June.

Nolan Reimold (hamstring) is not expected to be ready for activation from the disabled list when first eligible. Reimold was placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 12 with a right hamstring strain. He is eligible to return on May 28 -- next Tuesday -- but his rehab is not that far along. The outfielder should be good to go at some point during the first few weeks of June.

Orioles placed OF Nolan Reimold on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 12, with a right hamstring strain. It's the reason why Reimold was held out of the Orioles' lineup for the fifth straight day Saturday. Chris Dickerson will likely get the majority of starts at designated hitter in his absence. Given his injury history, Reimold could be looking at an extended stay on the DL.

Nolan Reimold went hitless in a third straight start Thursday against the Royals. Reimold is 3-for-26 with a homer this month, and his average is down to .186. The Orioles have been patient so far, but it might be time to replace him with Chris Dickerson against some right-handers.
