Wright allowed three runs on five hits in four innings with one walk and three strikeouts in Tuesday's game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has an unlikely path to making the roster out of spring training. There are some moving parts with the ineffectiveness of Miguel Gonzalez and the injury status of Kevin Gausman (shoulder), but both Vance Worley and Tyler Wilson seem like they would be ahead of Wright on the pecking order as of now.

Wright allowed four runs on four hits, walking two and striking out two over five-plus innings, but came away with a no-decision in Baltimore's win over Kansas City on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
The outing pushed Wright's ERA to a woeful 5.45 as he turned in yet another poor outing. He was actually in line for a loss before the Orioles exploded for 12 runs over the last three innings to take him off the hook. He may continue to get regular turns, but is not likely to be of any help to fantasy teams down the stretch.

Wright took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on seven hits and a walk over four innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
He had a tough matchup against the Blue Jays in his return to the big league rotation, and unsurprisingly Wright wasn't up to the task. After throwing 80 pitches Saturday he likely won't have any restrictions in his next start Friday, at home against the Royals.

Wright is expected to be capped at around 60 pitches in Saturday's start, the Baltimore Sun's Eduardo Encina reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being activated from the DL on Friday in advance of Saturday's game, the Orioles will ease Wright back into action, making him a tough play in daily leagues.

Wright (calf) was officially reinstated from the DL on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASN report.s
EDGE Analysis
After a successful final rehab start Tuesday at Triple-A, Wright has been activated and named the starter for Saturday's game in Toronto. Wright hasn't pitched at the major league level since July 31, and his last start came back on June 19. He holds a 4.99 ERA across 30.2 innings on the season.

Wright (calf) will join the Orioles in Toronto on Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Kubatko, Wright could be a candidate to start Saturday's game, though he would be doing so on just three days rest after throwing a 65-pitch rehab start at Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday. Wright has been on the DL since early August due to a left calf strain, and he hasn't started a major league game since June 19.

Wright (calf) will make a rehab start at Triple-A Tuesday, MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright went four innings and tossed 51 pitches in his first rehab start last week. With the Orioles fading in the Wild Card race, Wright should be in line for September starts with the team.

Wright was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. The Orioles made a number of roster moves Saturday to clear room for Kevin Gausman as he returns from the disabled list. Wright has taken three consecutive losses after allowing just three earned runs in his first three starts.

Wright allowed four runs on three hits, walking four and striking out one while retiring only four hitters in a 5-4 loss to Toronto on Friday night. Wright (2-3, 5.16 ERA) was dazzling in his first couple of starts, but the wheels have come off in a big way lately. Over his last three starts, he has allowed 14 runs, and hasn't made it through five innings in any of them. Kevin Gausman is scheduled to rejoin the rotation this weekend, and Miguel Gonzalez is nearing a return, so Wright's spot in the rotation could be in serious jeopardy.

Wright surrendered five runs on six hits and three walks with two strikeouts in four innings Sunday against the Yankees. Wright has now made five starts for the Orioles and he seems to be getting worse in each turn. He pitched 7.1 and seven shutout innings in his first two starts, but has allowed five runs in each of his last two starts while failing to make it beyond five innings. Perhaps advance scouting is starting to catch up to him. Wright might not have much time left in the rotation, depending on when Miguel Gonzalez is healthy enough to return and when Kevin Gausman is ready to take a rotation spot.
