Mike Moustakas went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in Saturday's 10-3 defeat of the White Sox.
Moustakas has put together a promising September thus far and has the talent to keep it going over the final 10 days of the 2011 regular season. The 23-year-old third baseman should be a valuable fantasy commodity by the start of the 2012 campaign.

Mike Moustakas went 3-for-4 with a two-run jack in Friday's win over the White Sox.
He also added the first stolen base of his career. Moustakas is now riding a modest six-game hitting streak to push his average up to .245. He's managed just a .245/.293/.322 batting line since being called up in early June, but we're still plenty bullish on his long-term prognosis.

Mike Moustakas went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Royals' 7-3 defeat of the Twins on Wednesday.
Moustakas had cooled off again after his late-August surge, but this was a nice game for him and he's now hit in five straight. Overall he's hit .238/.287/.306 with three homers in 294 at-bats since arriving in May. He could use a nice finish to ensure that he goes into spring training with a starting job to lose.

Moustakas' major league career got off to a truly rough start, but he's been on a roll since the middle of this month and has the talent to keep it going down the stretch. Fantasy owners who gave up on the 22-year-old third baseman may want to reconsider.

Royals manager Ned Yost reiterated that the struggling Mike Moustakas is in no danger of being demoted to Triple-A Omaha.
It's not the first time that Yost has had to affirm Moustakas' job status, as the 22-year-old's slump has continued unfettered. He's hitting just .187/.241/.235 over 187 at-bats. "He's playing spectacular defense at third base," Yost said. "So, he'll figure it out here. You go through these things. That's why we brought him up now. So he could go through it now. It's what we keep talking about. These kids all go through this. This is nothing new. He's good enough that he'll figure it out."
