Leake's start Wednesday has been postponed due to rain, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Leake will likely take the mound Friday instead, though that should be revealed at some point before the contest. He'll look to continue his recent run of decent starts, but has now had his second straight compromised due to rain (his last start lasted only five innings due to a rain delay). The likely scenario for the pitching rotation involves bumping the starters back a day.

Leake gave up three runs on five hits over five innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday night. He needed just 61 pitches to get 15 outs, but a lengthy rain delay ended his night prematurely. Leake is lined up to face the Tigers at home Thursday in his next scheduled start.

Leake scattered 10 hits in a quality start victory Tuesday against Philadelphia, as he allowed three runs (two earned) with four strikeouts and one walk. Leake wasn't as masterful as his previous outing against the Phillies, in which he struck out nine over eight innings, but Leake now owns a pair of quality starts over one of the National League's worst teams, a much-needed respite after serving up 14 earned runs in nine innings in his previous two outings. His ERA sits at 4.29.

Leake struck out a season-high-tying nine Phillies through eight innings Wednesday, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks in a no-decision. He took a no-hitter into the seventh and a shutout into the ninth, but the Phillies came alive with a four-run rally against Leake and closer Aroldis Chapman, then eventually won in extras. Leake doesn't typically miss this many bats, as he struck out as many hitters Wednesday as he had in his prior five starts combined. Nonetheless, Leake's showing himself to at least be streamable against bad offenses. The Phillies will visit him in Cincy for a rematch Monday.

Leake (2-4) gave up six runs on nine hits and a pair of walks in five innings Wednesday in a loss to the Rockies. After going on a stretch of three starts in which he gave up just one run over 22 innings, Leake has imploded to the tune of a whopping 20 runs over 14 innings in his last three outings. Of course, considering his inability to miss bats and homer-friendly ballpark, Leake was due for some regression after posting a luck-aided 2.36 ERA in his first seven starts. He does, however, get to face the Phillies his next time out.

Leake was shelled for five runs on seven hits, while walking five without recording a strikeout over four innings of a 7-3 loss to Cleveland on Friday night. That was ugly, and worse yet, that makes back-to-back shellackings. On May 11, Leake was coming off three dazzling performances and had a 2.36 ERA with a 0.87 WHIP. Now, two starts and 14 runs in nine innings later, his ERA has ballooned to 4.14, and he can't be recommended to fantasy owners until he shows an upturn in his performance.

Leake got pounded to the tune of nine earned runs in five innings pitched in the 11-2 loss to the Giants on Saturday. Leake was dominant his prior three starts, allowing only one run, but Saturday was a different story. Leake allowed 11 hits, including three home runs to the Giants. He'll look to pitch better in his next start when he takes on Cleveland on Friday.

Leake had another dominant outing Monday against the Braves, allowing just one run in six innings but only striking out one batter. Leake has allowed just one earned run in his past three starts and has a 2.36 ERA on the season. While his strikeout numbers haven't been great this season, he induces a ton of ground balls and has a WHIP of just 0.87. His next start is scheduled to be Sunday against the Giants.

Leake (2-1) dominated the Pirates over eight shutout innings Wednesday, giving up six hits and no walks, though he struck out just two. A terrific outing for Leake, and although his strikeout rate continues to lag, he's delivered strong results so far this year, with an ERA that now sits at 2.47. However, his FIP is 4.05, as a lot of Leake's success can be attributed to the .185 BABIP against him. Leake's always outpitched his peripherals by a little, but it's not likely that this early success represents a big leap forward.

Leake pitched eight shutout innings and gave up only two hits and two walks to go with three strikeouts in Thursday's win over the Braves. Leake allowed just four baserunners, retiring the last 12 batters he faced. The right-hander gave up a single in the first and another in the second, and walked Freddie Freeman in the first and Chris Johnson in the fourth. Leake also helped his cause by hitting his fifth career home run in the seventh. It was Leake's first win this season, and he'll look to keep the momentum going in his next scheduled start Wednesday at Pittsburgh.
