In his third start of the season out of the two hole in Wednesday's 5-4 win, Schrock notched his first career stolen base and went 1-for-3 with a run and a walk to extend his hitting streak to five games.

Schrock is out of the lineup for the second half of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty-hitting Schrock will take a seat in favor of his platoon mate in left field, Aristides Aquino, with the Reds facing a southpaw (J.A. Happ) in the nightcap. Schrock started in Game 1 and went 0-for-1 before being pulled from the contest for a pinch hitter.

Schrock is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Schrock will remain on the bench for the second straight game while the Reds oppose another lefty starting pitcher (Jon Lester), but the 26-year-old appears to have captured a strong-side platoon role in left field with Jesse Winker (intercostal) on the injured list. Aristides Aquino will fill in for Schrock on Monday.

Schrock is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty-hitting Schrock will take a seat with southpaw Jesus Luzardo on the hill for Miami, but the 26-year-old may have moved ahead of Aristides Aquino and Shogo Akiyama in the outfield pecking order to emerge as the primary replacement in left field for the injured Jesse Winker (intercostal). After starting the last two games at the position and going 2-for-4 with a walk, Schrock's OPS now sits at .841 over 72 career MLB plate appearances.

The Reds recalled Schrock from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He'll move up to the big-league roster as a replacement for reliever Tejay Antone (forearm), who was placed on the 10-day injured list. Schrock has been excellent in spot duty for Cincinnati this season with a .945 OPS over 49 plate appearances, but he won't have a clear path to playing time at any position with the Cincinnati lineup at full strength sans left fielder Jesse Winker (rib).

Schrock went 5-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old had a massive performance at the dish, highlighted by hit fourth-inning solo shot off Mets starter Marcus Stroman. Entering Sunday, Schrock had just 12 hits across 30 games in his major-league career. He's up to two homers, seven RBI and six runs scored through 45 plate appearances this season. He's likely to remain in a utility role -- Schrock only started Sunday to give the red-hot Joey Votto a breather.
