Harvey pitched seven scoreless innings, striking out nine while giving up only three hits and two walks in a no-decision against the Cubs on Wednesday. Harvey (5-1) pitched well enough to win, but reliever Carlos Torres couldn't close the deal. Torres gave up a run in the eighth then back-to-back hits to Anthony Rizzo and Starlin Castro to start the ninth inning before intentionally walking Miguel Montero. Closer Jeurys Familia replaced Torres and struck out Jorge Soler but walked Chris Coghlan to give the Cubs the win. Harvey will have his next scheduled start Monday against St. Louis.

Harvey allowed three runs on six hits, walking one and striking out four over six innings of a 3-1 loss to Philadelphia on Friday night. The loss was Harvey's first of the season as he dropped to 5-1 with a still impressive 2.72 ERA. The Mets will continue to monitor his workload (he threw just 86 pitches in this one, 58 for strikes), but he appears to be on his game after missing last season following Tommy John surgery, and is clearly a threat to dominate on any given night.

Harvey tossed seven innings of shutout baseball, allowing five hits, walking one and striking out three as the Mets down Washington 4-0 Friday night. Now 5-0 with a sparkling 2.41 ERA, Harvey and Max Scherzer hooked up in a classic pitcher's duel. A fourth inning home run by Michael Cuddyer proved to be the difference, although the Mets did add on three runs in the eighth inning to salt the game away. After missing 2014 while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, Harvey has quickly jumped into the early 2015 Cy Young discussions.

Harvey will not face any restrictions due to his mild left ankle sprain in his start against the Yankees on Saturday, Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record reports. Harvey was officially diagnosed with the ankle sprain just this week, but he first came down with the injury in spring training and it didn't seem to inhibit him in his first three regular-season starts (3-0, 24:1 K:BB). The 26-year-old has thrown between 84-95 pitches in his three outings and should be fine for a similar workload Saturday.

Harvey (ankle) will make his scheduled start Saturday against the Yankees, Matt Ehalt of The Bergen Record reports. The minor ankle sprain shouldn't be an issue for Harvey as the Mets look to take Game 2 of the Subway Series on Saturday.

Harvey has a mild left ankle sprain but will start Saturday against the Yankees, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports. Harvey has been dealing with the injury spring training but the ailment was first reported Wednesday. the Mets could opt to skip Harvey's turn in the rotation or move him back, but that does appear to be the plan as of now.

Harvey will see a doctor Wednesday for a foot issue that has bothered him since spring training, but he will make his next start, Mike Vorkunov of the Star-Ledger reports. While specifics regarding the foot issue are relatively scarce, manager Terry Collins was adamant that it's not gout and apparently it's nothing that could endanger Harvey's availability for Saturday against the Yankees. Through three starts (18 innings), Harvey is 3-0 with a 3.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 24:1 K:BB.

Harvey, who almost was scratched from his start due to illness, allowed four runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts in six-plus innings to get the win Sunday. Harvey told manager Terry Collins early Sunday AM that he was under the weather but he wanted to try and pitch. He cruised through six, but lost some strength in the seventh, allowing the three hitters he faced to reach with all three later scoring.

Mets manager Terry Collins said Harvey will have his pitch count loosened for Tuesday's home start against the Phillies, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports. Harvey was limited to just 91 pitches in a dominant 2015 debut that saw him strike out nine Nationals over six scoreless innings. He'll seemingly be allowed to approach 100 pitches in his second start, facing a weak Phillies lineup at pitcher-friendly Citi Field.
