Harvey pitched seven scoreless innings, striking out nine while giving up only three hits and two walks in a no-decision against the Cubs on Wednesday.
Harvey (5-1) pitched well enough to win, but reliever Carlos Torres couldn't close the deal. Torres gave up a run in the eighth then back-to-back hits to Anthony Rizzo and Starlin Castro to start the ninth inning before intentionally walking Miguel Montero. Closer Jeurys Familia replaced Torres and struck out Jorge Soler but walked Chris Coghlan to give the Cubs the win. Harvey will have his next scheduled start Monday against St. Louis.
