Trumbo went 3-for-6 with a solo home run and a walk-off single in Sunday's 12-inning victory over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
A year removed from leading MLB with 47 bombs, Trumbo's latest homer was just his 21st of the campaign. Entering this year, not many expected the slugger to repeat 2016's career season, but it's safe to say the masses weren't anticipating this either. Before breaking through Sunday, Trumbo was sporting a career-low slugging percentage (.408) and OPS (.707).

Trumbo is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo is just 1-for-20 in his career against Seattle's starter, Erasmo Ramirez, so he'll get the day off after starting 18 straight games since returning from the disabled list. Seth Smith will slide over to DH in his absence, leaving a spot for Craig Gentry to start in right field. Trumbo, who is slashing .239/.298/.410 with 20 homers this season, should be available off the bench, and will likely be back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

Trumbo went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, a walk and two runs Friday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo hit his 20th blast of the season off Rick Porcello to give the Orioles a three-run lead in the second inning of a home win. Unless he goes on a hot streak, he's been a poor performer for fantasy owners, as he's slashing .237/.297/.412, and he's difficult to trust in lineups.

Trumbo went 1-for-4 with a solo homer Friday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo smashed his 19th homer of the year to put the Orioles on the board in the second inning of a home victory. Unfortunately, his .415 slugging percentage has been a tremendous disappointment to fantasy owners.

Trumbo uncorked his 18th home run of the season -- a solo shot -- in Thursday's win over the A's. He finished the night going 1-for-4.
EDGE Analysis
The struggling slugger had been slumping prior to landing on the disabled list and entered Thursday with no hits in his last 20 at-bats. Trumbo got off the schneid by depositing a Chris Smith offering into the left field seats 406 feet away from home plate. Trumbo has struggled mightily since the All-Star break with a .141/.203/.297 slash line entering Thursday, but his home run could mean that he's on the cusp of breaking out of his slump.

Trumbo (ribs) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday and is starting as the designated hitter against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo comes off the DL after missing just nine games with a right ribcage strain, so it appears the ailment wasn't causing too much hindrance on his swing. The veteran slugger will be looking to improve from a tough slump through the month of July, as he batted just .143/.255/.409 with six home runs over 93 at-bats before being sidelined. Donnie Hart was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding move.

Trumbo (ribs) took batting practice on the field before yesterday's game against the Tigers, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first news regarding Trumbo's baseball activities since landing on the disabled list. He's been out since July 31, but all signs point to last year's homerun king returning for Wednesday's matchup vs. the Angels.

Trumbo (ribs) is expected to return from the DL on Wednesday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although it's not entirely clear where Trumbo stands in terms of baseball activities, manager Buck Showalter said the 31-year-old is still on track for activation when first eligible. Trumbo has been a big fantasy disappointment so far this year -- he's on pace to finish with a little over half as many home runs as he had last year -- but he still has time to salvage his season somewhat.

Manager Buck Showalter said Trumbo's MRI results were very positive and he could be back after the minimum stay on the DL, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is encouraging news, as it sounds like Trumbo could be back with the big club as early as August 8. In the meantime, Joey Rickard will continue to benefit from extra playing time in the outfield while Trumbo is sidelined.

Trumbo was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right ribcage strain Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The move is retroactive to Sunday, so the earliest he'll be able to return to action is August 8, although it's unclear if he'll be ready to go by that time. Trumbo was also dealing with back tightness, so the club likely wanted to play things safe, especially with a roster spot needing to be cleared for Tim Beckham. Look for Trey Mancini to pick up more starts as the designated hitter in his stead while Joey Rickard and Craig Gentry logging more starts in left field as a result.
