X-rays on Trumbo's calf came back negative, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
While initial X-rays showed no structural damage, Trumbo was still bothered by the ailment after the game, so he'll likely head for more tests Wednesday to confirm the severity of the issue. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Trumbo was prematurely lifted from Tuesday's game against the Brewers with a left calf contusion.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo fouled a ball off his leg during his last at-bat, prompting Joey Rickard to replace him in the contest. It's unclear how long the injury will keep him sidelined at this point, but he'll be listed as day-to-day until more is known following Tuesday's game.

Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI Friday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo left the yard off Rays closer Alex Colome in the 11th inning in a divisional loss. He's been a disappointment to fantasy owners, as his .404 slugging percentage is currently the lowest he's posted in any of the last seven years.

Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBI during Sunday's win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo also homered Saturday, so the veteran slugger might be kick-starting a power binge. His pace is well short of the 47 bombs he hit last season, but Trumbo is locked into the heart of the Baltimore order and posting respectable fantasy numbers. He sports a .263 batting average with 10 homers, 33 RBI and 44 runs.

Trumbo went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Saturday's win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
The bomb snapped a 14-game homer drought, and Trumbo posted a .173/.283/.212 slash line with just a single RBI during that stretch. Repeating his 2016 numbers is out of the question at this stage of the season, but Trumbo is still providing service fantasy counting statistics with nine round trippers, 30 RBI and 43 runs.

Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a double and scored the Orioles only run in Thursday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo is the hottest hitter on the O's over the past month, leading the club with a .317 average and a .389 OBP in 26 games. He's on pace to score more than 100 runs for the first time in his eight-year career. However, unfortunately for the slugger and his owners, his .415 slugging percentage is nearly 120 points lower than last year.

Trumbo went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo, who entered the game 0-for-14 in his career against Boston starter Edwin Rodriguez, earned his eighth homer of the year with his first-inning smash. It's safe to say the O's cleanup hitter has left his early-season slump behind. Over his last 32 contests, Trumbo is hitting .331 with seven home runs, 22 RBI and 26 runs.

Trumbo went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, two RBI and a run against the Yankees on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
A 47-homer man last season, Trumbo has just seven in 51 games this year, but he's been hitting quite steadily for a while. He's been known to be streaky, so don't be surprised if Trumbo goes on a major power binge soon, as it seems he's seeing the ball pretty well -- he's striking out at easily the lowest rate of his career.

Trumbo went 2-for-3 with two singles, a walk, an RBI and a run during Monday's win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo entered Monday's game with a .317/.367/.505 slash line in May, and he only improved those marks with his solid showing against the Yankees. For the campaign, he's up to seven home runs, 24 RBI and 30 RBI and appears to have ironed out the kinks in his swing that caused him to stumble out of the gate in April (.548 OPS).

Trumbo said he feels like he's back on the right track after cleaning up a few flaws in his swing, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trumbo stumbled out of the gate, mustering an apathetic .202 batting average alongside a .548 OPS in the campaign's first month. Since flipping the calendar to May, the slugger is slashing .333/.381/.511 with four home runs (he hit two in April), 11 RBI and 16 runs. The 31-year-old would have to go on an unbelievable streak to near 2016's career season, and at this point, that seems highly improbable. However, Trumbo should still provide a nice contribution across multiple categories as the year rolls along.
