Pina is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Jett Bandy gets the start behind the dish and will hit sixth in the matinee. Look for Pina to get the nod in the nightcap against southpaw Marco Gonzales.

Pina is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Though he's seemingly pulled ahead of fellow catcher Jett Bandy in the timeshare behind the plate, Pina will head to the bench Sunday for the series finale against the Diamondbacks. Jett Bandy will draw the start in his stead.

Pina is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Pina has seen most of the starts behind the dish as of late, but he'll get a night off for a breather. Jett Bandy will take over behind the dish in his stead.

Pina will start at catcher and bat fifth Monday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Pina seems to have pulled ahead of Jett Bandy in the timeshare behind the plate, as he'll pick up his fourth start in six games Monday. The 30-year-old doesn't have much of a track record at the big-league level prior to 2017, but he's certainly justified the increased playing time this season with a .769 OPS over 116 plate appearances.

Pina went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI in Sunday's 9-5 over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Pina busted out a 5-for-32 slump (.156) with three hits against the Diamondbacks. His RBI double in the first gave the Brewers a 2-0 lead and he scored their seventh run of the game on a groundout by pitcher Jimmy Nelson. Pina, Milwaukee's backup catcher, almost had an even better day. He missed his third home run of the season in the eighth inning when his long foul ball went just foul. Despite Pina's recent struggles, he boasts a .315 average. He and starter Jett Bandy have formed a productive duo behind the plate for the Brewers, combining for a .296 average with eight home runs and 31 RBI.

Pina (elbow) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Pina was lifted from Thursday's contest with what was later described as a left elbow contusion, but he'll return to action after two days on the shelf. The 29-year-old backstop owns a .809 OPS this season, and although he's in a timeshare with Jett Bandy, Pina is the clear cut choice when a left-hander is on the mound, as is the case with the upcoming matchup against Patrick Corbin.

Pina is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
The news on Pina has been generally positive as X-rays were negative after he was hit by a 94-mph heater from Robbie Ray on Thursday. He will miss at least one start, but the Brewers have not yet made a move to add a third catcher to the roster, which suggests Pina will be available in an emergency.

Pina was diagnosed with a left elbow contusion and is considered day-to-day.
EDGE Analysis
The backstop was removed from Thursday's loss to the Diamondbacks after taking a fastball off his left elbow in the second inning. While it appears that he avoided a significant injury, it would not be surprising if the Brewers started Jett Bandy behind the plate Friday to give Pina some time to recover before rejoining the lineup.

Pina was removed from Thursday's game after being hit by a pitch on the elbow, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arizona starter Robbie Ray's 94-mile-per-hour fastball hit Pina flush on the elbow, forcing him from the game. Jett Bandy will take over behind the plate for the final seven innings of Thursday's contest. The Brewers will likely have an update on Pina later in the game.

Pina went 2-for-5 and hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the eighth inning of Sunday's victory over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The home run capped a furious comeback by the Brewers and was Pina's first since April 23. Despite the home run he is just 5-for-24 (.208) in May, but he continues to split the duties behind the plate with Jett Bandy.
