Pina went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI in Sunday's 9-5 over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Pina busted out a 5-for-32 slump (.156) with three hits against the Diamondbacks. His RBI double in the first gave the Brewers a 2-0 lead and he scored their seventh run of the game on a groundout by pitcher Jimmy Nelson. Pina, Milwaukee's backup catcher, almost had an even better day. He missed his third home run of the season in the eighth inning when his long foul ball went just foul. Despite Pina's recent struggles, he boasts a .315 average. He and starter Jett Bandy have formed a productive duo behind the plate for the Brewers, combining for a .296 average with eight home runs and 31 RBI.
